Floo's Journey - One Nichleing Finding his Purpose

[Applesauce]

Glacier garbs a worm out of the dirt. He can't wait to share it with his son. 

[Applesauce]

Next morning, Nunu awakes!

With the encouragement of his family, he stumbles towards the beach. Glacier is careful not to let him fall in and prepared if he does.

[Applesauce]

Floo agrees to sit with Nunu while his parents go and find more food. The food supply looks great but they don't want to get comfortable. It could disappear quickly and it's always good to have a little extra. Soon both start to drift off and they end up napping together on the warm sand.

Meanwhile, Rosie catches scent of a tasty stag-mole.

She moves in but still the little brown rodent does not see her. She already knows it will be a sucess.

And boom, pile of meat.

[Applesauce]

Glacier heads over to get some coconuts. He'll have to teach Nunu how to use his tail to crack them. It's very effective.

[Applesauce]

Rosie smells rabbil. How dare it wonder so close thinking it will survive.

Floo stays by Nunu. Floo tries to talk to him and teach him words, but all that comes out is soft coos and croaks. How squishy.

[Applesauce]

Rosie and Glacier try to have another baby while Nunu and Floo are occupied, but there is no luck. Seems they lost their mojo for a second.

[Applesauce]

The next day, tragedy strikes the small family. The crab... has died. No one was prepared for this amount of sadness. rip crab 2020 - 2020.

[Applesauce]

Glacier stands over his companion. 'He was a good friend,' he says sadly. Rosie places her claw gently on his shoulder. 'He was.' 

[Applesauce]

However they cannot mourn for long because there are things to do and babies to be made!

Glacier prepares the nest for Rosie. Both are ready for another baby.

[Applesauce]

On the bright side, Nunu is now old enough to be out on his own! Yay!

He uses this opportunity to get away and find himself a root. Although at this point he still doesn't really know what a root is. He will have to find out for himself!

Floo is a little sad. Now he must nap by himself while Nunu explores.

I always get no twins for several generations (with full-fertility parents), or 2-3 pairs of twins from one set of parents (especially when the parents are Adam and Eve). no imbetween :T

FINALLY DONE WITH SUMMER SCHOOL. Now I have so much knowledge to forget

New baby is about to be born.

In the morning there is a handsome gray boy. He doesn't look much like either of his parents or his brother, but he does have his fathers webbed paw.

[Applesauce]

Floo, who's had a bit too much of babies for a while, catches the scent of an interesting bird. He's see these before. Lula liked to case them, but she always said they didn't pay off. More fluff them fat is what they are. Floo always thought they would make a great pet.

[Applesauce]

On the other side of the bay, Nunu practices his digging. 'What are you, little dirt worm?' He questions the ground.

Eventually he dives in and brings up a juicy root. He chews it. Yes very chewing it is. After a bit he spits it out. 'Too much dirt.' He decides.

Then he hears his father call out to him. He's calling him to meet his new brother.

[Applesauce]

Nunu runs over to his mother's nest. With her is a teeny gray ball of floof. 'His name's Hermit.' She says. But Nunu doesn't really care about the baby. 

'Look!' He says holding the root he dug up to his mother's face. 'I tried to eat, but too much dirt!' 

'That's ok, little man. All you have to do is wash it off.' She replies. 

'Oooh,' Nunu thinks.

Meanwhile, Floo has encountered a rock on his quest to find the bird. 

'Pardon me sir,' he says nervously while moving out of the way.

[Applesauce]

Rosie leaves Hermit to the care of his father and brother to go for a little hunt.

She manages to chase it all the way to the shore. 

[Applesauce]

Rosie finds another rabbil to num. 

She is tried after hunting so long, so she lays down next to Glacier as he encourages little Hermit out of the nest.

[Applesauce]

Nunu, who got bored looking at his brother, comes to join Floo search for the bird. Together, they find it snoozing in a nest. It's fluff is almost to big to fit. It's perfect. 'I shall call her... Jellybean.' Floo announces.

Nunu scratches his head, 'Whats a Jellybean?' He asks. 

'No idea,' Floo says. 'Just thought it fit her.'

At that moment, Floo sees something through the grasses.

A port? With tall blue reeds and a terrible smell? He can hear, no, feel the call to adventure deep within.

[Applesauce]

Eventually Nunu leaves to find his mum. Floo sits in the grass staring a curiously at the port. He always planned to leave when Glacier settled down, and now that he has, there doesn't seem to be much holding him back. 

At that moment, his pink friend comes to sit beside him. He can tell his friend is troubled. 'Is everything ok, buddy?' He asks Floo.

'No.' He replies, his voice sounding a little stressed. 'Come with me.' Floo leads him to the port.

'Oh.. I see.' Glacier says sadly.

'The thing is,' Floo says, 'I want to go and explore the islands and all that, but I haven't been alone is so long. It's scary.' 

[Applesauce]

The next day back at the tree, Nunu and his mother encourage Hermit to walk some more, but he looks like he has better things to do.

Later that day, Floo and Glacier gather to tell Rosie of the port and if he should go. 'But... you're so good with Nunu, and a great role model.' She says.

'I know and I'd really miss you guys if I left. I mean, we've know each other for a long time now.' Floo tells her

Suddenly Glacier chimes in. 'I think you should go. You've always loved exploring the world and trying all the exotic berries. I don't want to be the one holding you back.'

Rosie glares at Glacier. Neither she or Floo realizes yet but if Glacier really cared about Floo he would know that letting him go is best.
