Floo's Journey - One Nichleing Finding his Purpose

[Applesauce]

They settle down in their new temporary home. Even the sand is nice and soft! They're almost suprised someone isn't living there already...

They awake to yet another blissful morning. 

But hold on. Somethings off. It's a scent. A firmiliar-ish scent. A very... feminine scent. COULD IT BE?????????????? ITS A FEMALE PEOPLE. CODE PINK CODE PINK CODE FRICKKJKKING PINK

[Applesauce]

BUT HOLD YOUR HORSES. These boys have a problem. They have go game! That's the one thing they've never had much experience with. GIRLS. But nows is their chance... 

They sit there for a minute not really knowing what to do. Neither has more game then the other, so really it's just a mater of chance. Maybe she'll be super nice? Floo hopes so because he starts walking. He says too himself 'I'm doing it for Nunu! One bad experience with romance can ruin the poor little man's career! So brave!' 

It's seems though that our lady has more important things to attend to then two bachelors. Honestly though, it makes perfect sense.

Soon Nunu steps in to get the nice lady's attention, but instead is stunned by her gorgeous spotted fur. 'Umm, ma'am? We, uhhh, were just in the area for some food and me, I mean we, wanted to introduce ourselves?' Nunu manages to grind out a not-so-bad sentence. A+ for effort!

She turns around, revealing a beautiful spotted bat wing. 'Hhmmm... travelers! Been a while since I had visitors. Do you have any food?'

'Umm, yes! We have a little..' Nunu barely shows their very small amount of food. She starts grabbing berries out of his hands before he can say no. Floo is fascinated. This lady really has her priorities straight. 'Uhhhhh anyway, my names Nunu and this is my uncle, Floo.'

'Akari.' Says the strange lady, still focused on the berries. She's older, a bit younger than Floo. 'This is where I live. Thanks for asking if you could stay.' 

'Oh... sorry about that.' Floo says. 

'It's ok! Make yourselves at home! This bush here has the only berries I can eat and I can't crack nuts so help yourself.'

[Applesauce]

Since their hostess alreay ate most of their food, the boys start gathering all the food they can. They love wandering but it'll be nice to take a break and munch of tons of food. Floo goes to gather the coconuts. Still, thoses doubtful thoughts from earlier follow him.

Back over somewhere, Akari sits Nunu down by the berry bush. 'Now little man, you will help me harvest the berries!' 

Nunu is not very exited though. Mainly because his head is stuck in tree, but also because his tail could be put to better use by cracking coconuts. But maybe also because he haves some social anxiety.

Night passes by, and Floo finds himself with another round of nuts to gather. Though he'd usually be excited, today he finds himself swarmed with thoughts. Like BIG thoughts. 'What if I wasted my life traveling instead of having a family? Would I be happier? Was I happy enough?'

Nunu: *Exists*

Everyone in a 50 mile radius: *inhales* LiTlLe MaN

Meanwhile Nunu and Akari continue with berry duty. Both learn a lot about eachother over berries. Turns out Akari actually traveled a ton in her youth. 'So your telling me that theres a tribe out there that has BABIES with BEARYENAS?'

'Yes! And they're actually quite nice.' She says.

'That's kinda cool! Maybe I'll go there one day.' They pause 'Why'd you stop?'

'Oh, you know, just got a little tired of it. Then one day while I was wandering around this island and I stubbled across this place and though, 'this would make a nice retirement home,' and I've been here ever since.'

She's right. It was a nice place. It even has a nest!

Akari goes down to the beach to check on Floo. He's been very distance since they met. 'You ok, green bean?'

'Me? Oh yes I'm great! I've been sitting here gathering nuts all day!'

'Hmmm.. ok. Just tell me if you need anything. I'll be in the water. It's bath time!'

But little does Floo know that Akari is one of those nichelings who knows when somethings up. She's seen alot out there so of course she's not gonna be clueless.

TEH SUN RISES! (I'm running out of ways to say 'it's morning') 

Akari smells a root. She calls for the only root digger she knows 'NUNU! Theres a root over here for you!' 

Nunu, having found a new repect for the cookie-like stranger, stands at attention. 'Yes MA'AM!'

'Watch out for falling coconuts!' She warns 'I knew a guy once who forgot his own name after being hit by one of them!' 

[Applesauce]

He parkour like a pro over to the root. 'Yes MA'AM!'

[Applesauce]

While Nunu is busy, Akari comes over to sit by Floo. She think he needs a talk. Old soul to old soul. 

'I can tell you're not yourslef, Floo.' She say, 'What's wrong exactly?'

He looks at her hesitantly. 'Is it really that obvious?'

'When you been where I've been, yes.' She answers him. He's still quiet. 'It's ok! More often than not problems of the mind are not unique to you.' That makes him feel a little better, so he shares his thoughts with her. After all, there's not really any other solution.

[Applesauce]

'Ah yes.' She says once he's done. 'That's called anxiety. It only happens to things you care about and it's goal is to make them go bad. Sounds like you're living a great life, and you charish that so much.'

'But I never had a family and I never had kids.'

'You helped raise Nunu. He even calls you his uncle. Last time I checked, uncles count as family.'

'But I never found my purpose.' 

'Well are and were you happy?'

'Yes but..'

'Than you found it!'

Ahhh this is so cute! I’ve been following the story of Floo for the past hour :3 He deserves the best in life

After their talk, Floo feels a lot better. Just knowing that his anxiety is just anxiety makes him feel better. He has led a great life and has known his purpose along.

Also I just wanna say how cool Akari looks. Between the wing, the fur color and pattern. I really lucked out on that. AND she has a pink bat hook to match her fur. HOW PERFECT IS THAT?

After a good nights rest, Nunu goes back to digging up roots.

It's can be very boring work though. He's tempted to take a munch outa the purple thingy and just pladdle around in the water.

But suddenly he hears a squeak in the grasses. He closes his eyes and sniffs. Rabbils! A whole herd of the things! Maybe today won't be so boring after all.

He picks his kill out from the herd.

With stealth and caution he closes in. Now it's only a question of strength.

[Applesauce]

Slowly, he lifts his tail high and in a spilt second the rabbil is no more. Just a pile of food. Yum.

Very excited, he calls Akari over. 

[Applesauce]

'Look! I took care of that rabbil like it was nothing! NOTHING.' Nunu gets a little too excited. 

'I see! Well done little man.' She looks over at a rabbil, a live one, and then sees the berry bush. 'Hmmmm, this place seems to be a hotspot for these little guys. Probably cause this is one of the few non-toxic berry bushes on the island. Maybe you could be more hunting round here. You seem to be pretty good at it.'

Nunu is pretty happy. Maybe this is his passion.

Way back by the cove, Floo sits happily eating coconuts and berries. He finally feels free after all that time. Now he can think of other things. They've gathered a lot of food. Maybe if theres a port near by...

Eh... But not today. Today is relaxation day, which means taking a bath in the suspiciously warm swamp waters.
