Floo's Journey - One Nichleing Finding his Purpose

[Applesauce]

Early in the morning, Nunu and Akari are up hunting again.

Piece of cake. Nunu's really a natural.

[Applesauce]

Floo joins them to see what it is that they're doing. 'Hey Floo. You know your nephew's quite the hunter. This ones his second!'

[Applesauce]

She passes him some berries so he doesn't feel left out as they both munch out on meat.

[Applesauce]

As Floo munches, he smells a smell. It's a very pleasant smell. No danger or bearyenas, lots of flowers and berries.

A flowery port! Of course! This will be the port he takes his last jounry on.

Our trio awake to a rainy morning.

Floo gets up and walks over to the port. He knows he doesn't have much time left. 

He calls over to Nunu. 'Get ready Nunu, Today we travel!' 

[Applesauce]

'It's time?' He says, confused.

'Well we have enough food, and I'm not getting any younger.'

Nunu turns to Akari. 'Can you come with us? You seemed to make him really happy the other day. Plus I need a hunting buddy.'

Nunu didn't expect her to. She already seemed happy where she was, so when she said yes he was overjoyed.

[Applesauce]

Nunu goes first. He sits next to Floo and feels the grass. 'Wow, this island will be so soft. It'll be a nice change from the swamp weeds. I tell you, it's like I can't go one night without getting a thorn in my back.'

Akari walks over to the edge. 'You're coming?' Floo is surprised but happy. 

'Of course! I figured a trip with you two is better than waiting around here till I'm old and cranky.'

[Applesauce]

Each one positions themselves on the port. Then, they're off!

[Applesauce]

After a while the three reach a very familiar island. 'Hey!' says Floo, 'I remember an island like this at the begining of my travels.'

'Yeah I came across a few of these on mine.'

Nunu is not impressed though. Instead, is confused. 'Why so small?'

[Applesauce]

But little man doesn't have to be confused for long because he is distraced by clam. I think Floo's appetite has rubbed off on him.

Floo takes big sniff to make sure it's clear of danger. There's really no reason too though. This island looks like it could do less damage then a baby rabbil.

More clams AHHH!

Same! I gave up hope of it being a small island judging by the size of the port. It really gives it a bigger sense of how far he’s come.

Personally I love how sweet and innocent the playthrough is  it provides great lore for the founders of tribes, and it gives it a lightheartedness that I think is hard to do with niche sometimes. You just establish Floo's character so well, and it's great fun going through his journey with him. We get to see how he grows up, which is adorable. Also tysm for how many screenshots you take it helps a lot. My favorite part is Floo's fear of rocks

Thank you! I’m usually awkward with character interactions, but I think in this playthrough there’s a sense of looseness. Like no pressure to make it perfect. That definitely helps. Also I think your A New Legacy playthrough is pretty easy to follow.

Akari, probably being our bravest nicheling, steps onto the island first. She forgot how green the grass was after all that time in the swamp.

Floo joins her and stumbles upon a nest. Very nice.

Nunu, with his clam in hand, comes third. 'Do you guys smell anything?'

[Applesauce]

Floo sniffs again. 'Hmmm... only a few berry bushes.'

Oh never mind. 

[Applesauce]

Tried from their travels, they hunker down for the night.

[Applesauce]

All awake in the morning. Nunu asks if he can go hunting for the day. He's very eager to put his new found skills to the test.

Floo and Akari agree. They decide they'll head over towards the big tree. From what they can see, it looks as though it would make quite the campsite.

[Applesauce]

OOOH rabbil. Akari tries to swipe it with her tiny bat claw when she hears Floo call to her.

'Do you smell that?' 

She snorts the air. 'Woah, what is that?'

'I don't know, lets see!'

[Applesauce]

Floo steps over towards the strange scent. It appears to be a very tall creature. And it has little bugs crawling all over it. Whatever it is, it's not very hygienic. 'Ummm hello sir, I'm Flo...'

Akari pokes him. 

'Don't assume it's a he! You might hurt their feelings.' She whispers aggressively, 'Good day sir or ma'am or whatever you like to go by. I'm Akari, and this is Floo.'

The creature stands still and silent.

Sorry todays gonna be cut short. Gotta go get ma bubble tea

I agree with Snowleopard, I really like Floo's innocence and how all the character interactions are very wholesome and real.

The characters deal with issues, like growing up, but they find healthy coping mechanisms and it's very sweet >w<

I also love your writing! It's easy to follow and really interesting!
