  1. First, let me say that I was excited when I read the synopsis / overview of the game. Although I think turn-based games are a bit outdated nowadays, it's not the worst and I rather play a turn-based game with a huge array of realistic game elements (for immersion), opposed to a RT(S) game that's all about "go there, build this, shoot that". But was I bummed to learn it's only SP (single player). And that for a price tag of $20. At the start this seemed to be quite a unique game, but it really isn't; one of my fav games of all time is "Spore", to which this game pales in comparison. Not to mention this game has no networking component (why not for a turn-based games where network lag isn't an issue!?), opposed to Spore Galactic Adventures. This game is cutsie with its whimsical graphics - which is nice and seems somewhat a theme with small dev studios nowadays - but does that justify a $20 price tag? I say no. There should've been implemented at least some real innovative things (AFAIK at least no other game has done that) via nutritional and counter-health benefits of the type of food the creatures eat (vitamins, minerals, starches, sugars; general carb intake making them fatter / bigger / stronger, based on proportional intake of overall nutritional value and level of physical activity; also this should affect the "smartness" of creatures!), affecting the various visual but even more importantly statistical attributes of each creature. And there's so much more that can be done, such as implementing cancer, stroke, heart attacks, dementia / alzheimer's disease,... through the lifetime consumption of meat, milk and eggs, opposed to eating fruits, veggies, foliage and roots AKA whole-plants - just like it does for us humans. This could make the game not just more fun by giving it a much deeper level of depth, but also educational. So this is at best a $10 title, but close to $20 is way too much of a price tag for what it delivers.
