History

Development on The Wandering Village began 1.5 years ago. Initially a side-project while the team at Stray Fawn was still finishing their second game, Nimbatus, it has now become the studio’s main focus.

About Stray Fawn Studio

Boilerplate
Stray Fawn Studio is a 10-person indie game studio based in Zurich, Switzerland. We focus on developing our own projects which are situated in the simulation game genre. Procedural content generation and the simulation of living worlds are at the core of our creations. We have a strong commitment to community-based development: crowdfunding, mostly via Kickstarter, is an essential step for most of our projects, and we involve our players and supporters from early on in our development process. So far, we have mostly self-published our games and are also offering “co-publishing” partnerships to other developers. Our first game, “Niche - a genetics survival game”, has sold over 150’000 copies on Steam.
