shore strained his eyes to get a look at the shadows. what was going on? and was that...blood??

shore gasped, shocked from the cold of the water. he felt the icy water rush into his lungs. the silence pounded loudly in his ears. he tried to claw his way towards the sunlight streaming through the surface of the water, desperate to get out. as much as he hated to prove his tribe right, he didnt like this at all.

"..huh.." there were plants under the water back at his tribe that you could supposedly eat to breathe underwater. not that shore used them at all. he took off the top. should he do it? itd be the first time hed be able to breathe and go underwater..just like everyone else. he glanced over at the river where rose was leaning down. turning back to the bottle, he drank it down in one big gulp.

shore reached his paw up and ruffled the fur on the top of his head, looking over at the creature walking towards the beach with some disdain. he turned back to the little bottle to examine it more closely.

shore looked at her for a bit. "alright."

"mreah.." shore mumbled between the bottle in his mouth. he walked back to put it near the camp. he wanted to keep it nearby...for whatever reason

he sighed and, thinking better of it, bent down to pick it up in his mouth. maybe he should go show it to rose...
