He leaned his head back, closing his eyes with a peaceful look for a moment before perking his ears up. He then leaned his head forward with a grin, reopening his eyes. "Oh but dearie, all I ever do is listen."

"Are you sure? I can lick any wounds!" She said, shifting her balance around awkwardly.

"Nope. But I smell something else." He ran forward before leaping into the air and coming down on a stagmole. He then picked it up and pranced back over to Lanasi.

"WH-" Cademe hissed and let go of Thettlethorn, swiping his claws at Jerry's face as he snarled. He shook in fury as he stared at them, looking like he was about to explode. "I'm so goddamn sick-"

Before he could finish, something tackled him, knocking him over into the undergrowth. A white shape held him down as he struggled, bleeding and breathing heavily themself. "What...the hell..." The nicheling panted, looking over at Thettlethorn and Jerry. "Are you...okay?" She asked, still breathless.

(It's Snowdove by the way, if you're wondering-)

(SNOWDOVE!!)

"I am.." They then turned to Thettlethorn and started looking him over. "Are you okay though?" They asked worriedly, mostly looking over his neck at this point.

Without answering, Cademe simply hopped over her, looking back and scoffing. "I'm real scared." He said, grabbing Thettlethorn by the back of the neck as he tried to run away, dragging him over.

"I'm sick of you. Just die already." He growled, starting to bite down on Thettlethorn's neck. 

Jerry panicked and quickly rushed forward to bite around where Cademe's eye and ear were. She bit down as hard as she could, just trying to do something to get him off of Thettlethorn.

The nicheling stared for a moment, before half smiling and half glaring. "You're like a little rabbil, I could snap your neck with one bite." He leaned over to look at Thettlethorn behind Jerry. "You're making friends with animals now? Sad."

"Shut up Cademe..." Thettlethorn said quietly, glaring at his own paws and flinching when the nicheling-Cademe-starting walking towards him with a snarl.

Jerry made her way between the two again and bared her teeth at 'Cademe'. "YOU don't get to call me a rabbil! Nor make my friends sad." They narrowed their eyes at him. "And I'm stronger than I look."

"Mhm, I'm fine..." Thettlethorn responded, warily sitting up and rubbing his head. "Hi..." He said quietly to the nicheling, who just scoffed.

"What are you doing out here? I thought mom would have starved you to death by now." His eyes flickered over to Jerry, and he blinked. "Is that a bearyena? What the hell?"

Jerry blinked at the impolite male before narrowing their eyes and standing defensively in front of Thettlethorn. "What's it to ya? Got a vendetta against creatures stronger than you?"

Thettlethorn kept running, not exactly sure where he was going but trying to remember the way that they came. Not realizing how fast he was running, he tripped over some kind of root sticking out of the ground, tumbling right into some nicheling that seemed to come out of nowhere.

"Ow! You little b-" The nicheling whipped around to look at Thettlethorn, and his gaze darkened. "Oh great, you're still alive." He growled.

Jerry ran up and quickly came to a stop, looking Thettlethorn over. "Are you okay?! That looked like it hurt!"

Jerry stayed there a bit longer, before yanking his head back and wiping her eye. "Well I saw something moving. Oh wait, were we supposed to go get the others?"

"See! It's not just a bug. Lots of things have more than just their original thought!" They looked around, then pointed at a rabbil's burrow. "Like rabbils! They try to supply for their families like we do! And sometimes the momma or papa bunnils don't come back home. Because we eat them! But that's how the cycle works. Like my kind.. eating.. nichelings.." With the last part they kind of stared down with a guilty yet confused look, but quickly replaced it with a smile as they leapt towards to rabbil's burrow. They put their head on the ground and stared inside.

She smiled, then carefully reached her paws up and set the butterfly on his nose. They then giggled and lightly blew on it so it'd flap it's beautiful blue wings.

"Yeah, but it's pretty!" She said before getting ready to pounce again. She waited until it was about to land on a flower to quickly reach out and grab it between her paws. She snickered, then turned back to Thettlethorn. "C'mere!"
