Same here. And, if you're working on improving the tutorial, I'd suggest those good old arrows or circles showing the specifics of where something is on-screen.
And I'd suggest adding the first combat to the tutorial. I'm stuck on trying to figure out to lick wounds and groom.
For you and others:
You need to bring a tribe member over to lick and/or remove a leech. You can also try to spot leeches before they attach and catch them, they add a bit to the food counter.
