The Peafowl Challenge

I'm planning on doing a playthrough/story type of ordeal on a challenge made by Spoopy Bottle

*I am somewhat loosely going off the challenge and breaking some rules for story purposes. One thing being the pregnancy is not as long. Another change being every group of peafowl's will only have one adult male and seven others(females). This is because that is usually how peafowls groups work in the wild. Finally, only males are requires to have peacock tails.

The brothers

Two brothers born of a small ostentation-consisting only of their parents- got along wonderfully most of their lives. Even leaving their parents when it was time they go off to start their own families and ostentations. Which is when they found two beautiful females, sister's to be exact. One having silky white feathers and striking red eye's. The other being the complete opposite. Sporting ridged and messy black feathers. Having dark eye's to boot. The brothers fell head over heels for their respective female, but something was drawing them apart. Not only did the sisters seemingly hated each other. The brothers who were ready to create their own ostentation seem to despise each other now. Albir-being the more serious and aggressive of the brother- wanting nothing more than to take his newly declaimed mate far way from Zephir. Zephir being the funny, cheerful, and joke cracking brother. With this drift between the two and even the added drama caused by Zephir and his lovely mate having their first peachick(Yes that what peafowl chicks are called like AWE!) already. As the brother split off on the island they just arrived on. Who knows the drama about to unfold.

Albir

He has a strong voice and can be very confident in himself. Though he tends to be quiet and threating in that sense. Markings slightly based on India Blue Peafowl color Mutation called: Charcoal/Bronze







Taphi

Taphi is the shy, gentle and one out of her sister. Being fairly quiet most of the time. She is an albino obviously but based on some research she could also just be considered a white peafowl. Of the Indian Blue pattern mutation: India Blue white. Basically just made her an albino for the ying and yang effect with her sister.(Also this will be the only exception of a pregnant nicheling not being on a nest when they are pregnant.


Zephir

The brother that loves to flaunt around his feathers could describe Zephir alone. He very loud and active and friendly. The opposite of his brother. His colors based off of the India Blue color mutation: Taupe.







Luko

Luko is pretty rowdy and slightly aggressive. The kind of bird to run and nip you could say. She is also very protective and would be whiling to fight whatever my be a threat to her or her new peachick. She is a melanistic peafowl though could be based off of the India Blue color mutation: Charcoal.
