  1. (The “virus” is actually just a fungal infection and Rata is right by a cluster of the fungus. There’s still a bit more as to why he is feeling so “watched”, but that'll come later. Don’t worry, you’ll meet the locals soon enough )
  2. “There're sorta zombies, but not exactly.)
  3. Even in your sleeping bug induced high, you could still recognize the: ...snap...squelch...snap... ...of unknown footsteps.
  4. (She got swarmed by sleeping bugs.) Although you didn’t see any actual parasites, your skin was covered in small, red welts.
  5. The first thing that you noticed (aside from the fact that you were lost) was that you were itchy. Very, very, itchy.
  6. And there was... nothing. Radio silence. Come to think of it, it didn’t even seem like a nicheling, maybe not even a creature. It was something... unearthly...
  7. (I think that’s a good idea, considering the Da1sy hasn’t been on since yesterday)
  8. (We need Da1sy to respond first.)
  9. “NO!” Terracotta shouted. “I-i mean no, I do not want to get eaten by a plant. He shook his head violently. W-where’s Rata?”
  10. “So they are real...” Terracotta murmured shakily, glancing around as if might pop out of the bushes and swallow him whole.
  11. Terracotta tumbled out of the grass. ”Uh.... I... didn’t expect to find you so quickly. I guess I’ll have to...” He trailed off, staring at her bloodied cheek and slime-covered tail
  12. It was cooler then earlier, making you realize just how long you had spent in the jungle. The sky was a pinkish gray, and blanketing shadows covered the understory. Thorns seemed to snag on your paws particularly often, and every red flower or fern made you flinc- wait, were those footsteps?
  13. The icy water soothed the burns almost immediately, the cool numbness spreading around your mouth and throat. Still, the “watched” feeling was so strong now it was almost suffocating. You shuddered involuntarily.
  14. Although forest seemed to grow bigger and bigger the longer you walked, the stream still became closer and closer. Still, you couldn’t shake the horrible feeling of...unease... that seemed to hang in the air. It was like someone was watching you.
  15. (Fine, I’ll do it myself. @Chiyanna) Although Rata’s mind was far away, his paws where in the present. Slowly but surely, he began to make the painful trek toward the stream.
  16. (There is water nearby) The pain was so fierce now that you thought you were going to faint. The only thing that kept you on your paws was the faint burbling of a distant stream.
