I have worked out what is causing it

I started playing via Game Pass and was playing fine. Hadn't played for a week or 2, and now for some reason when i move my mouse over a building it copies it as to build that building, if that makes sense. Tried starting a new game and same thing happens . Makes the game unplayable. Any suggestions before I just uninstall and forget about it
