  1. I find it popping up a lot in my Sandbox games as well. Unlike you, however I rather enjoy it. It's a good, basic gene, doesn't look ugly, and allows for food collection without much strife. The second or third most common for me is digging paw. That's the one I don't like, but it's more a personal taste thing.

It wouldn't be every day, it'd only pop up when you have energy left on one of your creatures. But you could probably easily add a ticky box to it of the "Don't show me this message again" variety, which would also be nice.

It would be for me, since I almost always have turns left. The box is definitely something I'd think we need for this. Truthfully I miss the days whe the day changer was in the bottom right corner, because it is incredibly easy to click the button, but those days are long gone.

I think this is a super cute idea so I tried to edit what they might look like onto a nicheling model, thoughts?

This makes me want rabbit ears now as well.

  4. I would like a family tree that lists all the generations as well. Including the nichelings that never had children. It would help them from fading away forgotten. Though I do see this as an issue for longer games. Perhaps we could have it be longer, but to prevent lag after a point we could have the full tree as some sort of file we could export. I'm not a game dev, so the difficulty might be more than it's worth.

  5. A life? What's that. I'm too busy playing Niche.

But, oh my! That nicheling looks so cool. From the looks of it this is going to be one sizeable update, so whenever I have free time I've been stalking the forums and Twitter just waiting for the news. I see you have unpinned the thread for the last version on Steam, so I can sense it's very close.
