TamTroll
that is kind of moving into the realm of unreliability though. The reason Nichlings and Bearyenas are able to interbreed is because they likely share some kind of common ancestor. They are both cat/dog/whatever like with large bodies, four legs, a tail, etc. Breading with a bird would be interbreeding with a completely different kingdom, like your dog trying to mate with a lizard, and the apes while more plausible, are still very different. that might be more akin to a dog with a gorilla. then again for some reason the Niche;lings can have gills so... not sure what's up with that. Mistwalker
I love the idea of more hybrids, though probably not with existing creatures. New creatures similar to Bearyenas that we would be able to create hybrids with could add more variety to just predators out in the wild and also to your choices of what to breed with. 42solvesall
So maybe I am on the wrong islands? Even my Friendly Bearyena would not breed with my tribe... though I certainly would love to breed with them, e.g. for strength.
Redknight910
I like the idea of more creatures to breed with that aren't necessarily other niechelings, like maybe something that instead of being a specialised fighter have a horse/rabbit type creature that specialises in running or foraging to breed with. For 42: I've only bred with one befriended bearyena, but I'm pretty sure you just have to have a female, and it needs to be an adult, they age the same as nichelings.
