Sky Biome

JAM Pheonix

Post

This is only accessible through snow mountain islands. If you get to the very top and your creature has two wings with enough flight energy(explained later), you  can go there. It looks like a patch of clouds. You would also need enough cold resistance, as it is as cold as a snowy mountain island.

- Flight energy

  • The amount of turns you can fly (does appear on creatures with one wing, though they can't fly)
  • If these turns run out and you are on a cloud island, you will fall and take damage relating to the distance fallen
  • If you have 8 or more energy, it is unlimited.
  • There is a new "Broken wing" debuff which happens whens a nicheling with too little energy falls from the sky. With this debuff, you can not fly. It lasts 5 days.
  • New feathered tail gene that gives an additional 1 energy and adds an attraction boost just like the peacock tail
  • Stage 1 wings give 0 energy, Stage 2 wings give 1 energy,(etc.) (The stage increases 1 each turn, starting in stage 1, ending in stage 5)

Nests can not be made on clouds because of the last bullet shown above. Now for the cool stuff

- Flora (None)

- Fauna (Little)

  • Rabid Nicheling (Just like a wanderer, except gone rabid due to the sparse amounts of food)
  • Blue Bird (Will attack ANY nicheling here)
  • Wanderer
  • Rouge Male (One upside is that it will have two wings, though here, this is EXTREMELY rare.)
  • Small Bird (Like the bunnies on a normal island, except this biome

You may also go back at any time.

heat body would be good here, also maybe there can be a feathered tail that improves flying here

Yes. They would be good here. I'll add in that feathered tail idea as well.

ok, but one thing though, it seems a bit barren, so why go here? you needs to get wings and lots of other things to even move here, so I don't really see too much point in flapping around above the clouds, maybe nichelings have more vision due to their permanently elevated positions?
