Ability to climb trees

I think we should be able to climb trees with certain genes that will allow the creatures to climb trees and balance. Like a tail could help balance on some branches. The reason for this is so, if there were a certain tree added that doesn't really drop its food down very easily or too heavy to shake unlike the smaller trees that drop acorns as of now, some creatures in real life would have adapted so they could climb up there and grab the food for themselves. But I guess it would be nice if the branches also fell off occasionally if too much weight is pulled on them or the branch gets rotten or old and it can crush creatures beneath it, but that would take a lot of coding and that's sort of hard to do.
