I think it'd be cool to have something like super smash bros where you try to knock each other off the edge.
A somewhat long platform (that would shrink over time, like in sumo) with higher gravity than normal, and you each try to push each other off the edge. It'd be a totally different dynamic since you'd have to essentially jump out of the way of stuff, and there'd be more different ways to move.
There'd probably have to be some kind of hostile ceiling so you can't just maximum thrust up and wait.
