What if a god was not a god?

What if a god was just a wanderer? 

What if that wanderer was not a wanderer, and a demon? 

Raroq' was not what most would call a rouge male. 

To most tribes, he was just another wanderer- another boy, another male- another silly mortal to the eyes of the tribes and gods, who would pass him by. 

Perhaps, he thought, they didn't know that he had followed them, perfected them through... violent means. Means that would shock, terrify, horrify the poor creatures.

 

It was strange, oh so strange, how the creatures would not notice a missing one until they screamed.

Until they begged for mercy at his claw.

Until they stifled cries at his velvet paw. 

Until they realised that Raroq' was not a wanderer, and instead a demon.

 

Not even his own were saved from the venom, claws, or silent- mockingly silent- step of his. 

No. 

He had promised he was going to be the only rouge male. 

Especially when there was a tribe nearby.

 

 

My tribe, now.

 

Silly rouge. You cannot escape somebody who knows exactly where you are.
