A very rare recessive fertility gene. If a female has two of these, she can produce offspring without a male, but said offspring is usually identical to their mother. To balance it out, the gene works like the low fertility gene otherwise.

sounds like it could be neat. may require a limiting factor such as "a male must not be present within X amount of tiles" or something, which would include rogue males and wandering males, so only if the female is truly isolated would this be more viable then breeding with a male. not sure though, like the idea.
