Instead of forcing the parts to be linked when placed let them be placed at first without any links and then marked as invalid until properly linked to another part. Would make it much easier to free build the drone and then think about how to link it up to be structural instead of having to temporarily link things as we go through the design process and then need to re-link it after so it doesn't wobble apart.
