an example:

Original: “You are such a scaredy cat sis!”, he laughed, then stepped out and shook the leaves off his pelt. 

Edited: "You are such a scaredy cat, sis!" He laughed, then stepped out and shook the leaves off his pelt. 

Alternatively: "You are such a scaredy cat, sis!" he laughed. Then he stepped out and shook the leaves off his pelt. 

 

Basically there should no comma after the quotation ends.

Grammar and stuff is pretty good, the quotations are done incorrectly but if you want me to edit I can help you out
