  1. Okay, last two suggestions, I swear! xD Tomorrow is the end of all of this anyways so I'm just throwing these out here for fun mostly.

    Orcolf: Orca/Wolf

Habitat: The water and the beach tiles, especially in the Archipelago.

Behavior: They stay underwater all over the place, be it shallow or deep, and the females will sometimes have a male baby next to them you can tame once the mother is dead. The tamed male will wander into the water and proceed to have the same behavior as all males, but won't attack your nichelings. This does however mean that in order to breed with one you'll have to do a little swimming. They can come onto the beach, but they only do so in order to chase prey that jumps out of the water. They don't go further than the beach tiles.

Orcolf Head, orca mouth with wolfy head shape and orca smoothness, +1 strength, +1 smelling, +1 underwater breathing

Slick Ears, looks like medium ears but totally rounded and smooth without the 'inner ear dip' of the medium ears, +2 hearing, +1 swimming, -1 heat resistence

Orcolf Body, wolfy body but smooth like an orca, about the same size as Big Body, +1 defense, +1 swimming, +1 underwater breathing, +1 cold resistence, -1 heat resistence

Orcolf Tail, orca shape, +1 strength, +1 swimming

Orcolf Legs, wolfy, +2 speed, +1 swimming

Orcolf Hind Legs, Meant to be orca-like and wolf-like at the same time, they ended up coming out seal-like, lol, +speed, +2 swimming

Normal eyes, gives Mask pattern instead of a fur color.

    Rhinocereal: Rhinoceros/Leopard Seal

Habitat: The water and the beach tiles, especially in colder climates.

Behavior: They can be found underwater all over the place, be it shallow or deep, but you will tend to find them basking in the sun on the beach. Females will sometimes have a male baby next to them you can tame once the mother is dead. The tamed male will wander around the beach and shallow water closest to your tribe, and might even scare fish toward your nichelings who may be sitting at the water's edge.

Rhinocereal Head, mostly seal-like but with rhino horns, +1 strength, +2 smelling, and temporary water breathing at the same amount of time as the water breathing plants.

Inner Ears, looks like there are no ears, +2 hearing,

Rhinocereal Body, smooth seal body, +1 defense, +1 swimming, +1 cold resistance, -1 heat resistance, and temporary water breathing at the same amount of time as the water breathing plants.

Rhinocereal Legs, definitely rhino-like, +2 speed

Rhinocereal Tail, seal shape, cancels out hind legs the way Spiky Body cancels out tails, +1 strength, +2 swimming, +1 speed

Normal eyes, and I don't know what fur color or pattern it should pass on to babies. Ideas, anyone?

  2. Because when you post late, someone's already suggested it. Eh, I would have typed far too much on the subject either way...

I didn't mean to dishearten you! D: I'm just too lazy tonight xD I thought sending a link would be easier than typing out "Oh hey look I got something similar and I drew pictures too~!"

Thing is, I like your drawing, and I also like your more detailed approach as opposed to my simple description. The idea of a stealthy poisonous savannah-dwelling creature makes a lot of sense and would also add another challenge onto an already challenging biome lol but I love a good challenge!

  3. I think I prefer the more wilted looking sweet tail, mostly because it looks more tail-like than the common bush style.

I agree that it does look more tail-like; I'm still torn on it because I love floofy things and a floofy bush tail looks cute, but if we're going for realism then the wilted sweet tail seems more realistic xD

  4. I like this idea! I also like the idea to keep the option to break the rock and instead move it around, but instead of it totally disappearing it could leave behind a bunch of pebbles on the ground where it used to be; you can now stand on this spot, and Nimble Fingered nichelings could be able to pick up the pebbles and throw them at bluebirds. Only nichelings with Nimble Fingers, though, because they should be able to grab the pebbles like a human hand grabs a baseball. The pebbles themselves would do +1 damage, and the strength of the nicheling adds to it. For example, a nicheling with nimble fingers, running leg, lean body, fluffy tail, hind legs, short snout, and no horns would normally not be able to attack, but once it uses its first gem of energy to pick up a pebble, it can do 1 point of damage to the bluebird then have an extra gem of energy to pick up another pebble. Meanwhile, a nicheling with Saber Tooth Fangs, Megaloceros Horns, Big Body, One Bearyena Claw, Hind Legs, and a Hammer Tail would do 10 damage on it's own, but when throwing the pebble at the Blue Bird it would do 11 damage. I'm thinking maybe there could be six pebbles per rock, one for each corner of the hexagon tiles?

  5. These are great tails and some of the ideas the other Posters added are really good. :)

Thank you! ^^ I just added a couple more tails, too! Please let me know what shape you like better for the Sweet Tail!

  6. What if the derp snout's face included a "Heavy breathing" ability that attracts carnivores and gives you the ability to hear when a hurny mali is in the grass like when a carnivore growls in the grass? I know it seems crazy and probably shouldn't be added, but just /what if/? xD

  7. Oooh I really want a necheling with sticky tongue now! (just all *Mleh!*  ;D ). And I really like that grabber gob: just looks so happy! like a puppy that's so excited to be outside.

Thank you! ^^ Every time I look at Sticky Tongue I hear the Mario character Yoshi's little "MLEM!" noise lol. And while I love all these faces, I gotta say Grabber Gob has stolen my heart with that excited expression xD

  8. New three heads are cool. Wouldn't mind some insectile traits, since I've always been fond of things like mantis' and bees and such. The grabber gob just looks awesome. And the tusk mouth is something I'm surprised we haven't seen already.

I agree, I just feel like the insectile traits probably shouldn't look too alien, hence why Clever Jaw looks catlike as well as antlike in hopes the developers will feel warmer to it lol! And thank you; Grabber Gob has swiftly become my favorite- If I had to choose just one of these to be put into the game, although I love Clever Jaw a whole lot, I'd choose Grabber Gob because I think it's beyond adorable. <3 As for the Tusk Mouth, I know it's been suggested more than once in the past by more than just myself (Heck, in my New Tails thread here you can see one of my old drawings of a Tusk Mouth suggestion) and I'm a little surprised it hasn't been added yet.

  9. Some cool ideas in here, particularly I like the adaption mutations idea. I think either add an untouchable bubble to the selected mutations window that will fill in depending on what your nicheling does, or create another tab for a few adapted mutations. Some other examples I can think of are toxic fruit and hunting rabbils/stagmoles, which would mutate toxic body/poison fangs or claws/horns.

    I agree with this!

  10. ya i dident inted for them to be bred with but i really like the frog rat design. the only reason I think they couldent breed is that there probably to small and the art is great. And i was just wondering what you drew the art on? PS- maybe it could be frog like but still have teeth.

I used DAMuro, actually~! ^^ And I do like the frograt picture better lol

  11. Well Mystic:

an eclectus male and female (red and black for that gothic look)

    a Congo African Grey

    a teal blue ringneck

a pair of violet Indian ringnecks

honestly they're breeding all kinds of ringnecks now...

    can't forget sun conures:

    and heres some lovebirds

    hope that's helpful ;)

Oh my gosh, thank you! Those pictures are lovely!! Fun Fact: I actually based the patterns of the parravens off of ringneck parrots xD I think they're super adorable and had no idea there were violet indian ringnecks; they're so cute!! I think a purple birb would fit right in to the swampy scenery~!

  12. I thought it was 3 suggestions per post :/ I'm going to check the rules again real quick xD, ok yeah it was three threads per person xD sorry I misunderstood the rules, deleted all of them except three including this one!

It's cool, no sorries! xD I was kinda hoping I misunderstood the rules so I could add more idea threads LOL maybe next time!
