Good idea, but what if it lasted longer? Just 7 turns seems too.. sad? If you have a big pack, you're just wasting a bunch of nesting material to keep it up for a baby to be in or something. Maybe it takes 10 nesting material and lasts for two days, before it begins to crumble after five turns on the third day, making an alert like, "A burrow is collasping!" and after 3 more turns it fully collaspes. And if you don't have a big pack, it just immediately collaspes on the end of the 3rd day.
I think that by "turns" they mean days

It's not about being OP. It's about realism. What kind of animals would build thorns in real life? Also real thorns have roots so you couldn't move them.

Perhaps mane types could work by giving it a new gene slot and disabling it for females?
That's how it's supposed to work

nichelings must have a high poison resistance to attack
You could attack them without it, but you would get poisoned

🤔That's the weirdest glitch I've ever seen!

This sounds hard to do, but hey Sims has similiar things (or used to have) and Minecraft is a whole game about building terrain, so why couldn't this be in niche too!

When this round of voting ends, will the Feature Requests be archived and a new one begin?
I hope not. Maybe just mark all the selected features as "Is implemented"

Just let the birds do it. Or bearyenas. Or any other predator. Or make them pick poison berries. Or cactus berries. Or just drown them.

Whaaaaat? I was like "This snow port is too big to be a snow port"
I guess it kinda has a different shade of blue... 🤔

Wait, what? Add Fishing even though wolves and sheep don't fish...?
A normal claw gives you +2strenght and +2 fishing

Maybe change the wolf-sheep claw stats to +2 strenght, +1 fishing and +1 speed, since wolves don't really fish that much (neither do sheep) and can run long distances
-
I was gonna suggest a creature called woat (wolf+goat). Maybe you could add goat horns on wolf-sheep and use woat as it's name?

All current animals in Niche are combinations of two different animals. Also, what would it look like? What would it's stats be?

This needs more votes!

What would it do? +2 cold resistance?

Rabbils have gerbil tails, so that's unlikely

I didn't even realize that I could name my game files for the longest time, or I don't think you could when I started some of my older ones that still work.
They have been nameable from the first beta of Niche

It's possible to give newborns the alpha role, which allows them to eat first, but I see where you're coming from since it would be more convenient to have an overall option to feed babies first.
It's not possible on the day before they're born, and then babies will starve

niche is based off spore somewhat, and nichelings are at least somewhat smart because they can tame animals, which honestly only humans can do
Niche is more the "creature stage" not "tribal stage"

I don't see this being a thing in Niche. Doesn't fit the way I see Niche. I can't imagine nichelings building human-like strucktures. More like a Spore thing

Three new body types

I think that instead of enemy damage the stegosaur body should give 1+ defence
