Ok sorry I lowkey ditched the rp for a few days I didn't have motivation buT IM BACK (and i feel super bad about what happened to Ossen so Dragon Tear time woop)
Dragon Tear trudged out of the canyon, struggling to locate Aires' scent trail. Using her big nose, she takes another sniff of the damp jungle air... but smells something else instead. The smell of old blood and a mixture of poison in between, along with the smell of unfamiliar Nichelings. Panicked, Dragon Tear first decides to follow the scent of blood. If anything, it could mean an injured creature on her island!
Dragon Tear dashes through the undergrowth and skids to a halt as she approaches a tiny clearing, supporting the scent of the poison. She pokes her head through the thick jungle grasses and gasps at the sight of... Ossen!
"Ossen!" She calls, speeding out into the clearing and next to her fellow leader. "Are you alright? Are you hurt?" She asks frantically.

I think that they should be able to fly, but at least have their flying ability limited.
Basically, (idk how far current bat winged/ bird winged nichelings fly) but say they fly a total of 10 tiles. A batbird would fly only 7 (or maybe lower) because their wings do not matchI do think they should fly, just not as well as only bat winged/ only bird winged nichelings ^^

I just assumed that even if you're in a triangle, you can't unfreeze a creature without actually doing it yourself. Maybe it's not a bug 🤔
also haven't played Niche in ages I may be wrong

Were they standing in that triangle formation that people generally put creatures in to stay warm? Or does that not unfreeze creatures...

Oh I just thought of something-
SO for the eye colors we already have, maybe there could be some variations in the shades? Ex: Light green to dark green, light blue to dark blue, etc.
(sorry the pic is so big) but generally organisms that have green eyes do not have them in the bright variation that it provided in Niche. Maybe there could (repeating the top statement) be variations in shades for a bit more realistic/genetic touch?
(same thing goes for other colors, too, not just green)-

Yeah- I knew that her tailfin was solid brown-ish the whole time, it's just she was drawn multiple times with a tipped tailfin, so I went with it lmao

Fennel bursts through the grasses, panting heavily from the run. (Mind you Fennel is still like, a fresh baby so he probably shouldn't be out and about but thAT'S THE BEARYENA SPIRIT AMIRITE)
"Mom! Mom!" He whines, rushing up behind the dark furred bearyena. ...When it didn't respond immediately... Fennel started to get worried. He sniffed the air, and reeled back in horror as he realized...
...THIS WASN'T HIS MOM!
The bearyena turned around and snarled, it's huge fangs snapping mere inches above Fennel's head. This bearyena wasn't just any... it was the one that suggested killing Fennel's father, but his mom had rejected this offer!
(Lilytuft this is your que you control mom bearyena and nice rogue male hehe)

Fennel nods and smiles. "Thanks! Didn't even see that stump there!" He responds, speeding off and leaping up onto the stump. He peers around for his family, and sure enough, can spot his bearyena mom's tall stature standing out among all the grass.
"Hey! I think I see my mom! Thanks Lonpaw!" Fennel says, waving his stumpy tail goodbye as he dashes off into the grasses.
Let's hope Fennel saw his mom and not some random bearyena.

"Do you know where my dad or mom is? Or my siblings?" Fennel asks frantically. "My mom is a bearyena- my dad is the nice rogue male- and my siblings look like a mixture of both!"

Meanwhile, Flippy is casually playing in a small puddle, ignoring the chaos that is erupted on the opposite side of the island. She can't really hear what's going on anyways. She assumes it's a party that she wasn't invited to.
"Playing with seaweed is more fun anyways.." She sighs, poking at the soggy wet leaf on the coarse grass.

Fennel jerks his head away from the emo creature and yellow creature at the sound of the warning call "fire". Alarm courses through his veins as he speeds away from the two conversing creatures, not caring how much noise he was making. He had to make sure that his family were okay! Most importantly, his youngest siblings!!
