So, basically: This is a game like Mutant Fighting Cup. You defeat some monsters, you get some genes, some gold and items. Your starter animal is a kiwi. You can change the animal after you have completed a set.
Just type in some username, this will be your new name for the game. Anyways, here are your options, which will you choose?

Hereth the list:
Leading - The process of attacking a predator and then fleeing just inside the predator's range. This strategy is usually used for leading predators away from the pack, or leading them towards stronger nichelings.
Gene farming - Gene farming is the process of doing a specific action over and over again in order to unlock a certain gene. I. e. Collecting from stinky fruit trees and licking the nicheling multiple times in order to unlock purrsnout and stinky tail.
Sacrificing - This strategy is mostly used for story telling purposes, but not always. When a nicheling is on their last day, they sacrifice themselves to do something. I. e. Collecting from poison berry bushes without poison resistance, using all of their moves attacking a predator, drowning, etc.
Rogue Children Murdering - Whenever a rogue male child is born into the tribe, some players will use it to unlock certain dangerous genes such as spiky body. They will also pick from cacti, swim in the water without underwater breathing, pick from poison berries without poison resistance, etc.
Main breeders - Whenever a tribe is running low on a certain gender, the few nichelings left of that gender will usually become main breeders. Main breeders breed with most of the nichelings in the tribe. Main breeding may also be used when one nicheling has compatible immunities with multiple other nichelings.

The wiki has quite some old and inaccurate info. One time I needed to rewrite the whole genes page. I suggest going on the explore tab and clicking random page. Check the whole page and write anything new or delete the inaccurate stuff. Then go to random page again and continue the process untill you're bored.

Hello strangers! Today, I am going to be doing a playthrough in which you will submit 8 nichelings! Also, 1 nicheling per person, and remember: we're starting on deadly hills! A thing I noticed while making some new challenges with sandbox mode is that in the forbidden genes, I didn't see bat wing. I was thinking that maybe the devs just forgot to add it in but it still didn't spawn on starters. Little did I know that was not the case. I have gotten 2 savefiles where one of the starters got a bat wing, on story mode and sandbox mode. Sadly, both of the saves are deleted now but I do have a screenshot.
As you can see, the Eve not only has bat wing, but also peacock tail. Another gene that is forbidden. I have also gotten an Eve with a bird beak hidden in her genes. Not sure if these are bugs, or just something to help out new players to tell them about the really rare genes. That's all I have for now.

Try to make a tribe full of only kiwi birds and platypuses. Every creature that doesn't have the bird beak or platypus bill shall be banished. Also name the savefile "Homo Erectus". Start on archipelago or a jungle island depending on whether you want more platypuses or kiwis. Name the babs after types of birds.

I once had an albino heat-bodied (ayy) derp snout boi invited into my tribe and he helped us reach peak FOOD! Sadly he was sick so I pulled an emergency female on em and then after he died his son was named after him lol

Heyo ya'll, this is where I'll post all of my niche discoveries. Feel free to comment down your discoveries so I can add them!

Completed Discoveries:
The type of paw that the mother passes on to her offspring is actually the top paw when viewing a creature's genetics.
Take for instance this screenshot right here. The Eve in the photo has 2 nimble fingers, while Adam has 2 runner legs. The offspring shown here has a nimble fingers gene on the top, with a runner leg on the bottom. Along with that, from our point of view the top paw will always be on the right and bottom paw always on the left. Now, this picture also shows another discovery: Eve carries genes that don't appear on normal starters (not sure if this is a bug). In the photo, the offspring is carrying a bird beak, which Adam doesn't have. So, that means that Eve carries the bird beak in her genes, which doesn't appear on normal starters. Not only that, but I once had an Eve with the bat wing. Moving on to another discovery..
This nicheling without ears! When using the console and changing the bat head to another snout, the ears will not appear on the snout. The only snout that does not lose its ears is the bat head. This is a bug, but a bug caused by the console. And, since we aren't actually supposed to use the console, this might never get fixed. (DM me if you want to see all the ear less snouts)
