heres what i do :] first, i make a circle for the wirst and the arm (not important) then (shown in red) a make a line with a diagonal angle or smtn??? if its standing, the bottom of the talon is flat, if its in the air a draw a wavy line undearneath (shown in blue) i sometimes add padding to make it look better also if you struggles to figure out where to put the talons s=just make a bloby shade like fingers all conjoined at once (shown at the bottom) and little circles at the end to show where you wnat it to slant or smtn.
