Kamado’s eyes narrowed at Lockwood, and then his gaze shifted to Iris. “Now, this is an interesting development.” Iris noticed that he was still holding Lockwood.

“Now now now, we can’t have these foolish villagers killing my prisoners, can we?” A cold and sinister voice said. Iris felt chills travel down his spine as his fire wall turned into a tornado and swept the mob away. He also saw Vivus come flying back into the field with Iris and Lockwood. A tall and slim man came into view, his long black hair tied into a ponytail. He was wearing regal looking robes, and Iris’s face filled with fear.

Iris’s eyes widened. “Lockwood, you’re a genius.”

“Where did you even- nevermind.” Iris examined the spot on the map.

Iris flicked his wrist and made the firewall snake around the mob, slowing them down from reaching Vivus.

Iris turned around. “What?”

“WHY ARE YOU INSISTING ON SACRIFICING YOURSELF?” Iris asked

“WHAT? DO YOU WANT THE ANGRY WATER VILLAGERS TO KILL YOU?” Iris yelled to Vivus.

Iris stopped running and summoned a wall of fire separating Vivus from the mob.

The mob slowly got up. They all turned towards Vivus. “More of Kamado’s elementalist scum! Get her!” The bartender yelled. The mob raised their torches and pitchforks and all raced towards Vivus.

Iris watched as a small portion of the mob turned towards Vivus. “Vivus! Run!” Iris yelled. She didn’t. She just stood there. The other part of the mob, which consisted of the very angry bartender, continued chasing them.

“I have guard duty. And a meeting with Kamado.” Otto sighed.

“Gmorning” a half-awake Otto mumbled between snores.
