I just feel like making my wolf challenge more realistic. My idea is to put 2-8 into a random number generator and the result is the number of puppies. Like is there a way to spawn in babies that follow the genes of the parents?

wait a min, that gives me an idea for a harder version of the challenge. Exacly 101 dalmatians, 101 food and 101 nesting material in 101 days. Imma do it in the future ~

@Tilly Thanks for your response, my brother who installed linux on my pc in the first place was able to navigate through the terminal through the directories and then to the ini file, and then just used gedit AnimalNames.ini to edit them. cd .config/unity3d/Team\ Niche/Niche\ -\ a\ genetics\ survival\ game/&& gedit AnimalNames.ini

oh, that's a game developer, I hope they can help. If they cant I have a backup plan

@pepper_ well when there's a linux folder to start with and inside is (image in post). It's nothing like what other people have and I cant find the file in any of the files (ty, im named after my favourite kind of sandwich)

So you know the file where you can edit generated names? I can't do the usual pathway C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Team Niche\Niche - a genetics survival game\AnimalNames.ini and it may be because I use linux and downloaded Niche from steam. I've searched LocAllow, AnimalNames.ini and AppData already and its not there.
