  1. I said this once already in the niche discord server, but visual differences on the horn genes as Nichelings grow! Not including when Nichelings grow old but not starting out with full grown horns (I'm looking at you megaloceros horns.) Concept drawing. Plus, if put this way, babies on blind gene mode can be more interesting. Did they get horns or did they not? Gotta wait until they're a child to find out! And until a teen for what kind of horns specifically! Just noticed that Hehak mentioned something similar, last post on the second page
  2. haven't done anything here in a hot minute but I'm still here and am doing art fight for the first time! https://artfight.net/~Broom_Wielder <-- me
  3. Here is Mango! and I also thought this looked neat lineless soo
  4. Popping in to say a second time that if you've sent a nicheling before already, feel free to send another one. While I wait for some more art to do, have a calico nicheling which some may have seen on the discord already.
  5. Thought I would attempt to start off strong with a fluffy dragon oc of mine! The only full artwork with a background and shading I’ve done recently. She is a sun dragon named Sunbeam and a very old oc of mine. Edit: I’d suggest tapping/clicking the image to get the best quality
  6. You like dragons? You like just a lot of drawings of animals? Original ocs? A little bit of WoF? Well you've come to the right place! Maybe I'll even post some old art compared to a newer piece as well, I'm still thinking about it.
  7. Just in case anyone is curious, my Eve way back when had gills recessive so all it took was some genes that weren't dominant over gills for them to show up. It was great when the current leader suddenly had a gilled baby.
  8. The Leader Line This line has the first occurrence of gills, and also the third as well. The gilled ones may branch off soon. This one also has the leader of the area, the one chosen by the descendants of Adam, though everyone is a descendent of Adam at this rate. Sahara was about to have the next leader in this one. Twins in fact.
  9. Alright so current populations are: First Islanders Most notable features of these guys are the warm colors and the wings Branching Family With Adopted Cousin This family has the second instance of the gills becoming an active trait thanks to the father having bat head recessive. One more...
  10. Got a long lost cousin of some creatures that stayed on the first island that got adopted by a couple who went separate ways than the rest of the tribe did. Fun times. The archipelago is always awesome.
  11. Ah, the joy of being on archipelago and separating your family groups to see how far they eventually drift from each other. And getting a lot of food once you separate them.
  12. Sahara, the yellow nicheling in the back there, is the next one destined to be leader. She's the only one who has the home island immunity. And Sahara becomes the youngest leader in this tribes history! Unless Adam being alone somehow counts but I don't think so, he was only leading himself really.
  13. I wont be doing this format of telling everyones story anymore, I'll just do some recaps and show each leader that comes. I think that will be the best way for me to stay interested with this story mode stuff.
  14. Hop checks in on the new baby after she's been hastily thrusted into this leading role.
  15. Alright time to hop back into it again
  16. here is your Delta! She was a joy to draw and I decided to do something different with the eyes
  17. A Nicheling for thee. It was interesting to attempt to draw the webbed paw
  18. Yeah, but I'm about to go to bed so I'll get to it tomorrow
  19. Also adding on to say that I forgot to mention that maybe the mushroom tail could have a 50/50 chance on regrowing as poisonous. Maybe it could be a dynamic thing where if it is poisonous it adds poison resistance, or if not there isn't any. Alternatively, it could provide poison resistance only when regrowing and instead of the 50/50 chance for the poisonous buff, it would be poisonous if your nicheling collects some poison berries. Not sure, still trying to develop the idea
  20. I think that's totally fair. I myself do think a gecko tail would look very cute on nichelings.
  21. Here you are, one scorpion tailed Nicheling, fresh from the canvas
  22. Here we are, hopefully I got the pattern genes correct by eyeing it! Didn’t know which gems to go with so I just gave some green ones
  23. Sure can, just gotta know if those fangs are sabertooth or venomous is all
  24. Yep, but may I ask for the pattern and her color genes first? I want to remake her with some sandbox settings so I can get a clear reference.
