Fae's Journey

When looking through the forums, I started reading some playthroughs others have done, and I decided to start my own and share it! So, this is Fae's journey.

The only genes I gave her are platypus beak, a wing, and two healthy immunities (i would have left it random, but I don't want her to die faster :p)

 

Fae was born to a wanderer, which wasn't allowed in her tribe unless they at least one wing, but her mother didn't care. Fae's mother ran off with this wanderer day after day, and decided she wanted to have a child with him, but didn't think of the repercussions.  When the tribe found out she was pregnant with a wanderer's child, especially one without wings, they told her she could have the child, but afterwards she must leave, and if she is seen again she would be killed. So, she had Fae, and left to another island.

Fae was always hated because of her mother. She was seen as "Disgusting" and always had to do the worst chores around the tribe. Once, there was a storm coming to their island, but there weren't enough ports for everyone. Her tribe decided this was the perfect time to get rid of her, once and for all.

Fae was swept along in the storm, at the time she was still a teen, and she just barely stayed alive. Eventually, she lost consciousness and when it was regained, she ended up on a small, green island, full of precious food rescoursess

 

She has arrived, few food, all alone, looking for company. What will happen next?

 

Fae has discovered nut! She tries to crack it open but fails. Fae feels frustrated.

 

She has made a new friend! Bunnil is a good playmate, even though it tries to run away...

 

Whilst playing, Fae accidentally pokes bunnil too hard with her horns. Fae feels sad...but tries her friends meat. She likes it! But she wishes they could be friends instead...

 

She discovers berries, they taste alright.

 

I'll be adding more to her story either later tonight or tomorrow, sorry it stops here lol, I'll see you all soon!

Fae's Journey continues!

Fae has discovered a rock, but decides to move around it, if she doesn't bother it, it won't bother her...right?

Fae sees a path of rocks that head to a new island 'oh! Should I stay here..? Or go forward?' She looked around the small, lonely island. 'I'm sorry friend, but you're not home' She dipped her head to the island and hoped from rock to rock to the next place..will this one be home?

 

She looked around the new island, it was big, much bigger that the last. Fae headed near a huge red tree, wondering if it would give her food. She finds a crabbit near the tree and tries to attack it, it turned around and stared at her...making her very uncomfortable. She decided to eat some worms to try and distract her from the strange creature.

Meanwhile a leech creeps closer in the waters...

She looks at the leech through the clear water, and eats it. It tastes slimy. Fae does not like it. 'Is this what all fish taste like? Gross' 

Fae moves onwards, severely disturbed as the crabbit watches her.

She finds some berries, still not as good as meat.

Fae finds a tall..creature. She tries talking to it, but she gets no response. "Are you lonely too? Want to be friends?!" She huffs, 'Rude much?'

Fae sleeps in a nest for the night, she is quite uncomfortable with rock, tall creature, and swamp tree surrounding her.

She finds a mole, overjoyed at the sight of fresh meat. Luckily she kills it without it seeing her. Fae thinks it's delicious.

Fae's first time swimming! She likes the refreshing feel of water.

She discovers new berries! She's heard about these before though, they're toxin and Fae doesn't want to die just yet. There's also a bird overhead...not a good sign.

 

And this is where I'm going to leave it for right now, let me know if you're enjoying the story so far ^^

We continue... 

Fae hops out of the river to find a strange bear creature. She doesn't see it's face, but something about it feels...wrong, she backs up before running away.

More berries!

More meat! And a dodomingo.

Fae finds a new friend! Too old to be a mate though.

She invites him to come with her and he agrees. "oh! Some berries," He says. "Here." He destroys the bush and plucks a berry on a claw, then tosses it over to Fae. "Oh thanks! Why did you destroy it though? Couldn't you have just taken some?" She asks curiously. "Well, I can't collect berries, so I have to destroy the bush first. Besides, they grow back." He replies. "Oh...oh! I don't know your name yet, do I?" Fae exclaims. "Oh, yeah, I'm Ropri." Ropri yawns, as if a name is just a meaningless word used to identify individuals. 'Wait...is it?' Fae questions. "Well, I'm Fae! It's nice to meet you."

They continue onward, "Look out!" Ropri yells suddenly while attacking another nicheling. "Hey, why'd you do that?!" Fae exclaims. Why did he keep doing such strange, violent things? "That was a rogue male, they breed with whatever female is nearby. They always have terrible abilities, usually they'll have deformed paw, so they can't collect anything at all. I don't want him to breed with you, especially if you wouldn't want to breed with him." Ropri explains, quite slowly and thoroughly, as if she couldn't understand him if he didn't do otherwise. Fae just nodded, she had heard of these rogues before, but didn't know such vile nichelings really existed...

Ropri rushed her forward incase the rogue came back, which he did. He attacked the rogue once more, leaving it to flee.

Fae, with her boundless energy, rushes ahead. As Ropri sees the situation she gets herself into, he just groans. Fae eats one of the leeches, feeling it's strange sliminess as it entered her mouth. "Ew, I almost forgot how bad these taste." She says.

She hops away from the other leech, but it attaches itself to her face before Ropri can get over there. "Ouch!" Fae shrieks. "Here," Ropri says, and gently takes off the leech, as well as licking off the blood.

As soon as he is done, Fae bounces away, into the waters. 'So much energy' He thinks.

Noodle Doodling!

"Look! It's the port, come on!" Fae exclaims, while another leech creeps near.

"Eek!" Fae exclaims, and leaps onto the port. "Hey, are you coming?" Ropri sniffs around, smelling a funny smelling nicheling. 'it smells...sour.' He thinks. "I think I smell someone else." He calls back and goes to find this mystery creature. "Hey, why do you smell weird?" Ropri says, getting straight to the point. "Well...I am sickly." The stranger says, in an almost hissing voice. "So..you better stay away from me..like everyone else does." He said. "Well, want to come with us?" Ropri asks, yawning. "R-really? You don't want to run away? What if you get sick?" The nicheling rambles on. "Eh, having a new friend is better than being sick besides, you seem better than that bundle of energy over there." He pointed to Fae, bouncing around trying to see the new nicheling. "Anyways, what's your name?" Ropri asks, "I'm Ropri, that's Fae." He turned around to see if she was still bouncing around, of course she was. "Oh, um, I'm Sider." He said, looking behind the grasses at Fae. "Hm, well, we better get going." Ropri says, heading over to Fae.

"RUN!!!" Fae shrieks as she sees the brown, spiky fur of a bearyena through the grass. Ropri runs away from the bearyena and hops onto the port. "Well, that was close," He pants between breathes. "Sure was, so what's your name?" Fae says, turning around to face Sider.

"Sider, your Fae right?" He replies. "Yep!"

....

"Oh, you smell funny because you're sickly?"
"Cool, so because you have those fangs, you can eat the toxic berries? Awesome!!"

....

Their voices fade into the distance as they go farther and farther, getting closer to the dangerous island ahead of them...
