Where was she? As she looked around, she realized there was four other cats around her. "Who are you people?!" A white, spotted tom said. "I don't know either." A fluffy, white she-cat replied. "I'm scared" a beige apprentice mewed. "Well, since I don't think we can get home fast, we should get to know each other. I'm Nightclaw" the black striped she-cat was the only one Gingerfoot recognized - she was her half-sister. "Gingerfoot." "Well, I'm Whitespot" the tom said. "Cloudstep. But everyone calls me Cloud." The fluffy she-cat wasn't even really paying attention. "Uh... I'-I'm Birchpaw." The apprentice was seemingly shaking. "Aww, don't worry, little one." Nightclaw comforted him. ----------- "Hey! What's that?" As everyone was wandering in-land, Birchpaw spotted something in the water. "It's a leech! Watch out!" Luckily enough Nightclaw was still with him. She swiped the leech artfully and devoured it. "Ew!" "It's not as bad as it looks. Just watch out near water!" "Hey, why are you showing off?!" Whitespot was annoyed. "I'm not showing off, I need to tell you something!" Everyone went silent. "Well, since I don't think we can get home, let's form a Clan. Just until we find our homes, or something. Okay, who will be the new leader? I say Nightclaw." "Aww, thanks, but I think you would be a better leader, Ginger." Nightclaw blushed a bit. "If Nightclaw says so, I agree!" Birchpaw licked Nightclaw. "Eh, I don't really care, I guess Gingerfoot." Whitespots said. Cloudstep walked over to the rock. "Something tells me it might be you, Gingerstar." "Yay for GingerClan!" "I choose Nightclaw to be the deputy. He knew he would need to hold a silent vigil for one night, but he was very excited! Gingerstar tried to stop her. (no pic because I'm lazy) "No! I won't let you hurt her!" Birchpelt jumped after Nightclaw. (also no pic) The bear was defeated! "Are you hurt?" Birchpaw asked. "N-no, it's... just... a small scratch..." Nightclaw was shaking and bleeding. "Come with me." Cloudstep said. Nightclaw ate the healing fruit, then Cloudstep licked her. She was feeling a lot better, but she will need to rest in the medicine cat den for a while. "Birchpelt, you take over my role for now." Then how you organize patrols?" "You tell a warrior to go on a border patrol." "Oh, okay then. Uh, Whitespot, you go patrol the, uh... the north border." A brown, spotted she-cat with a strange snout sat in it. "Uh... Hello? Um, you're kinda trespassing on my Clan camp... why are you here?" Gingerstar asked politely. "Oh-- this is a Clan camp? I didn't know. I just smelled some food. I'm Pinecone." "Well, I'm Gingerstar. Maybe you want to join our clan?" "Oh-- Sure! Just... I was thrown out of my Clan because I can't fight well." "Don't worry, you can help out our medicine cat, Cloudstep." "Thanks!" Pinecone purred. "Just before you start, your name needs a little alteration.
