This is Tiberius, the Epic Tring! Formerly the self-proclaimed “ruler” of Fire Haven, Tiberius retired a while back due to his age. He’s an absolute stubborn grump who doesn’t let anyone help him, despite the fact that he’s so old he can barely walk.

Based around my headcannon for Tring (all three variants count), that as they age their back crystals never stop growing, eventually getting so huge that the Tring cannot walk. Usually the other monsters will help out with this, but, like I said, Tiberius is stubborn.

Younger Trings, with their lighter, smaller crystals, can stand on their hind legs, though this is already seen in DoF
