I've finally found out how to get to where I need to go in my files on my MacBook Air to enter those lovely custom colors and names!

But one issue: It's not working.

I change the file through textedit and add what I want, then I open the game and my changes just aren't there. The files are still edited, that never changes, I've verified the files through steam, yet none of that works! I've even tried duplicating the files and deleting the original ones but nothing happens. It's almost as if the file isn't actually connected to the gem colors or names in game in the first place.

Is this a lost cause or does anybody have any ideas on a fix?

Update: I looked around in my files some more and found a second file with the nicheling names and gem colors! I'm going to see if this one will actually edit what's in the game at all.

IT WORKED!

I have been trying to get this to work for literal years! YES!!! For any Mac users facing the same issue, it's in the file named "com.strayfawnstudio.niche" If you have two of these files, as did I, saves may be in one while the customizable files are in the other.

For anyone clueless on how to get there on a Mac:

Open finder

click go

hold down option to show library

click on library

open application support

find either your team niche file or the one mentioned above

and add your unique colors and or names

May nobody else have to do as much digging as I did, stay safe :)
