so in hollow knight there was a free dlc which added godhome, where you have to do bosh rushes; five of them, where they all get progressively harder until the fifth, where you have to fight every boss in the game with no savepoints

GUESS WHICH ONE IM CURRENTLY FAILING MISERABLY

surprise! its the third one!

so uhh,

im just going to document how every single one of my runs of it end up

 

bee man: you stab him, and he dies (tm)

old man with checker pieces: basically same energy as bee man but you should probably heal when given the chance because you just facetanked bee man and have no health

this absoloute madlad exists, but not for long

random red woman and her pet woodlouse are the first sort of hard boss, but just like,, dont die and youll be fine

then you fight goth bug dad, who was added in another free dlc and everyone loved him, and thought he was a hard boss

and then they (tried to) fight his second fight, where he goes from a kind of hard boss to the hardest boss in the game

you would have to be careful of not losing health, but you are able to get it all back when he dies so it doesn't matter

 

one bro, chilling in a hot tub

0 feet apart because they cannot be apart from themselves because that defies the laws of physics

okay back to bosses

you'd think he would be hard, but he is easy and his death animation is so long and dramatic you get time to heal back all of your health, before the hard part

okay, now on to the evil one.

ZOTE. FRICK YOU ZOTE. I HATE YOU AND YOUR GIRLFRIEND. OH WAIT! SHE LEFT YOU BECAUSE I KILLED YOU. IN THE REAL GAME. WHEN THEY DONT GIVE YOU ANOTHER TWENTY ATTACKS AND MAKE YOU TAKE LIKE 5 MINUTES TO DIE.

oh wow, so I actually managed to kill him with a reasonable amount of health left.

so in the actual game, you get to fight this metroid-looking idiot with quirrel ,the best character (other than the hollow knight and monomon) in the game. but uhh,,, hes not uhh,, alive anymore and to bring him back would probably make me die of sadness so they just changed uumuu up a bit and now he's kinda hard to kill

and now we fight hornet, who not only has grimm energy, but also is the most uhh,, bad drawing-ed character in the game because basically she is a girl in a world of nonbinary characters (this has a Big Lore Reason, but it would take ages to explain)

oh hecc I died because I forgot she's actually harder than grimm

and that's it

usually I die to zote and it ends there, but I managed to get to hornet which is cool, I think she is the last boss before the new final boss

so I tried it again and rng'ed my way to murdering zote and then remembered how to kill hornet,,,

now time for the final boss of the pantheon!! it is tiny bug man. with a big knife.
