Alright, I get it would be hard to fit so many creatures into one space, but think about it. These animals closely resemble cats. Why should they only have one baby(or two) at a time? Litters of 1-5 kits would make the tribes bigger faster, and it would be a lot easier to roleplay females taking care of their young. Please, at least add triplets.
