  1. I'd try to make a continent island. It would be a very large island with a decent amount of each biome in it. Temperatures and climate would depend on which part you were on (for example, it would be mild if you were in the grassland part while it would be cold if you were in the mountain part.) Biome-specific predators/prey (such as balance bears) never leave their home climate. The ocean would start off shallow, though get deep a couple tiles in. The island wouldn't have that many ocean tiles.

I just looked at all the feature requests that didn't make the cut :( I really hope you'll let us rename our savefiles in the future anyways because it is REALLY annoying when your good savefile is called 'Anchient Tales'. Or when your 'Seekers' tribe didn't become a seeking tribe and just has a cool last-name system. Ech.

I agree. I have a save named 'snowy explorers' but they aren't even a snow tribe anymore. In addition, I have a bunch of files titled 'new game' (some of them aren't really new anymore).

  3. I like this idea! One time, I made a tribe in the 0.4.1 version of Niche and I started naming dodmingos. It resulted in a royal family of dodmingos! :D

However, I do think that you should be able to rename wandering nichelings and rogue males from the info window as well as other entities.

Cool, but i think it would look cuter upright

I agree. I think that having the ears down could look alright, but I think they would look better upright. As @Draconiya mentioned, they could look like a lynx's ears.

i saw in a vid that the balance bear only has one cold resistance, does that mean they get turned into Balance bear icicles? or something. Because if they don't it wound't be fair if they stay unaffected and our creatures don't.

i'm asking this because i have never met one myself and want to be prepared for when i do

During my Frost Lands playthroughs, I've seen multiple balance bears. None of them have frozen, even in the cold winter. I think the 1 cold resistance is meant to tell the player that the bears can survive in the cold.
