  1. a wanderer I invited in
  2. Season 3 Also for anyone wondering what counts as a season; Brownie/ Truffle's life-death - season 1 Tiger's Eye finding her calling - season 2 Now this with Finch - season 3 And yes I did have to cheat this in shhhh
  3. It took a bit of time for the story to progress before there were comments on the side, enough for people to get attached to the story/ characters. So it might take awhile if things develop too slowly or poorly
  4. I WAS going to give her a good ending but she only had 6 days left on her lifespan and I didn't want to say "They won the war, Tiger's Eye is fina- oh no she's dead"
  5. Path to the Stars Fearless came up from a lower hotsprings, carrying Onion's skull. Horizon nodded at them thankfully, holding it in her nimble paw. It was time. She plopped Lichen into the hotsprings. "Don't leave. You'll die or get caught in the crossfire." "But-" "Whose your mate and child?" "Fox Heart. And I haven't met my child yet." Horizon nodded, leaving him. The group carefully padded forwards, their footsteps muffled by the blizzard. Just beyond their snowdrift was the group, anxiously wondering where Lichen and Onion went. "3..." Tiger's Eye was ready to fight this battle, tooth and claw, for her freedom. "..2...." She knew it was now or never. "..1...." The last nichelings she would ever have to kill. For her freedom. Was it selfish? Yes.. the ends didn't justify the means. But then again. She had to help her own tribe. She had to destroy all in her path because she was 'gifted'. "...." And then, she realized something. 'You will bring death to this island, one nicheling at a time' It hadn't meant she would kill everyone. Her own birth had been immediate death to the Burnings. But then again, she hadn't killed anyone from the Burnings at the time. Everywhere she went, there was tragedy; she couldn't avoid that. It hadn't meant she was a murderer. "..." It meant she would see murderers. She would bring nichelings like Evergreen and the entirety of the Frozens to peace. If death represented someone who had killed, and had seen themselves above the rest, back down to the island. She had spared Evergreen and taught her to be better, and to stop resisting herself. She had helped the Frozens by sacrificing herself to the Burnings. All acted as above conflict and better than the rest. ".." And all had murdered. "." She hadn't become a monster at all- Fox Heart had lied, or Tiger's Eye had resisted. "Go!" She had finally found her calling; it was there all along. She was stronger than fate, she chose her own path. The Frozens descended on the group. Pomegranate instantly shoved his mate and daughter down the mountain. "Run!" Fire Ruby and Evergreen fought viciously. Her old training was obvious; she was avoiding Evergreen's venom-shooting range quite smoothly. Tiger's Eye sprang forwards, biting into Fire Ruby, tearing into her shoulder. Fire Ruby shrieked in pain, shoving her backwards. Tiger's Eye fell backwards, landing into a snowdrift. She sprung forwards, purposely spraying snow into the surround nicheling's faces. Tiger's Eye shot venom across her entire face, but her rage didn't falter. Fire Ruby pinned down Tiger's Eye; claw raised, face melting in a horrifying show. For a second, her life flashed before her eyes. But this wasn't like the old times she was facing death. It felt more of like an inescapable trap she kept avoiding; a problem she put in the dark and finally had to face, not a near death experience. She had finally learned that her calling was in her all along; she didn't need to do anything to find it. So what purpose did she have to resist dying again? There was none. She had left her mark on the world. She had put everything on the path to greatness. She had nothing left to lose now. Instead of blocking her claw or trying to dodge, Tiger's Eye simply shut her eyes. The path to the stars was ahead of her now, as all her pains vanished and light blurred her vision. "..Goodbye, everyone." The death of a legend, the rise of a truth.
  6. Next post is gonna be reallll depressing prepare >:)))
  7. AHAHAHAahahaha..haha..ha.. Don't know how to write this tragically because this is the only screenshot I got of this scene,,,, but uh ..yeah black child is Dragonfruit and Pomegranate's btw
  8. Second run I'm going to share because my luck was horrible this time; - Started on Crossing - Parents managed to amass enough nesting material (11) and food (56!) by the time they were adults. - Nest was built in 15 days. Nested in a tree. - Had 7 children - 4 were sick; 2 common colds 2 sleeping sicknesses. All survived, but were weakened - 3 died; 1 from a bearyena, 2 from failed fledging. - the father died from untreated leech bleeding shortly after all the children were born. 5 fledged; 2 died, 1 lost its ability to fly, 2 successfully The mother found a new mate 2 days after the first father died. - Had 4 children - Used old nest - 1 was sick; had sleeping sickness - 1 was deformed; killed immediately 3 fledged; 1 died, 2 lost ability to fly
  9. Shadows of the Past Lichen watched as Onion's body fell to the ground, dissolving into bones quickly. He turned to run back to the rest of the Organization, but Evergreen grabbed the back of his head, and roughly dragged him back up the mountain. He didn't struggle. Lichen watched as his brother, a cold and rude nicheling he hadn't known all that well, Dodo, left the Empires. Too brave for his own good. Tiger's Eye stared at him, mouth hinged like a snake, preparing to shoot venom out at any second. "Tell us, Lichen, what were you and Onion doing chasing down Arctic?" The pink nicheling stared into the jaws of potential death. His mind raced, but he couldn't think of a lie to save his mate and child he had never met. "Onion made this.. group. He forced me and Arctic to join. Arctic ran off, but I stayed with my mate and was made to help chase them down." "Where is this group?" Lichen swallowed fearfully, pointing his shaking paw towards east of the mountain. Evergreen looked over from her stump. "He's right. I can see Pomegranate." "How many nichelings are there?" Laika asks. "Uhh. Me, Onion- he's now dead- Fox Heart, Fire Ruby, Arctic- but not really-, me and Fox Heart's child, and Pomegranate, if you saw him." Horizon grinned. "Good. Easy to destroy. We have the ability to." She flexed her claw. "I suppose since you've been so helpful, we'll leave Fox Heart alive, and your child, I guess. Fire Ruby can make us immortal, so we'll keep her alive as well, just imprisoned." Lichen shook in fear. What have I done..? Horizon smiled, preparing to go to war. But, her sisters approached her. Tiger's Eye looked at her sadly. "Horizon, I'm going to be completely honest with you. Me and Evergreen don't.. we don't want to fight." Evergreen nodded. "I don't want to kill anymore. I've done that too much." Horizon stared at them, a mixture of emotions filling her mind. But she knew to be a great leader, she'd need to be calm and fair to them. Horizon: "If you help us defeat Onion's group, I won't make you fight at all after that." Evergreen's eyes looked so hopeful, it was bittersweet. "Thank you, Horizon." The shadows in Evergreen's past began to clear. There's no way to change the past. You just need to prove you've changed. And it looks like Evergreen has changed significantly.
  10. Death of a Hundred Years Bit of graphic description in the end of this one! Barely enough time to react, Evergreen leaped away from Fearless as they sprang towards her with zero fear, living up to their name. Fearless: "Get back over here, and pay for your crimes!" Evergreen felt that she needed to pay, but she wasn't certain this was how. Racing up from the mountain, a party of three blue-gemmed nichelings came up. A gray one was running from two others, who stopped in their tracks. Down on the rest of the mountain, the groups making up the different Empires began to split. Fire Diamond, Bronze and Jay all left the tribes, planning to explore the mountain, Bronze and Fire Diamond settling down as mates. Carrion, Rowan and Soil also decided to leave the Empires. But both agreed that if either group needed something, they could ask them. Hundreds of years of history, lost just like that. The Empires would need to expand even more now. Horizon and Alecto went up to join the remaining Empire nichelings, and tell them the news. Tiger's Eye recognized Arctic and their ambitious, overly aggressive older half-brother. She jumped forwards: "Onion! Stop. Don't hurt your sibling." Onion glared at her: "Get out of my way! You've ruined everything for me! As soon as you and your stupid siblings joined, you and Horizon have been jeopardizing my position as heir and most powerful." He smiled maliciously. "At long last, I can secure my place as strongest." He raised his claw up. But instead of hitting Tiger's Eye, he saw his claw intercepted by Arctic. Tiger's Eye jumped forwards to the opportunity, and sprayed black venom all over his face. . Onion had never felt so much pain in his life. It felt as if a thousand balance bears were all biting into his face at the same time, ripping at his eyes, noise, mouth, and twisted skull. He faltered, falling backwards out of blindness and began to slide down the mountain's steep slope. He found a hotsprings and buried his face in its water in hopes the venom would freeze, but to no avail. Raising his head out of the water, viciously scratching at his melting face, he felt snow fall from the sky, hauntingly calming. He had been born in the prime of the snows, a blaze in the mountain that ravaged and inflicted pain for the sake of living up to Quartz. Now, as he collapsed, in his final bloody moments, unable to move and think properly, brain being eaten up, it was only poetic that he died in the beginning of a new storm, drenched in water. And at long last, a hundred years of horrible tyrannical crime, rule and wrongdoings were all lost to time.
  11. Peace at Last Very short post because Fox Heart is an icon Fox Heart woke up to see her first child. Excitement filled her up; although she had seen this thousands of times before, each new child she had in every different body was unique, and she would love them, even if she forgot them eventually. Although she was a spirit of evil and death and whatnot, she did sometimes do good; usually, to help her children in different forms. For example; convincing her son Iron to lead his tribe to a new, safer island and staying behind. Protecting her twins Ghost and Spirit from a bearyena, costing her life. Helping Ebony, her mate and her children escape the wrath of a terrible leader. But there was one thing that stood out in every life; she always helped children whose parents died, abandoned them or didn't have parents at all. No matter how bad she is at her core, like all villains, there was a soft spot. She wanted nobody to suffer like she did. As Fox Heart looked down at her new child, he sneezed. Fire Ruby and Dragonfruit were surprised, before Fire Ruby spoke. "So.. we'll leave it here and tell Lichen you two can't be mates." Dragonfruit stared at her for a second darkly. Fox Heart stared down at the child. Fire Ruby: "And we should probably kill it, before it could infect anyone else." Something clicked in Fox Heart. She had lived so many lives, she had forgotten how her original life went. This seemed.. familiar. Almost like she was getting to watch herself. "No." Fox Heart looked at Fire Ruby firmly. "I'm not leaving him. And I'm 1/3 of this tribe's leadership." Fire Ruby glared back. "We'll see what Onion says about this." For a second, even with the two fighting, Fox Heart felt as if she had finally found inner peace. Like she had finally gotten the life she deserved. At least, she was going to give her child that life.
  12. The Churning Sea The somewhat joint group of the Frozens and Burnings reunited with Jay and Bronze. Fire Diamond seemed to have an instant connection to Jay; it might be because of their vibrant colored bodies or sibling relations. Either way, Fire Diamond was still a bit sad about her mother's passing, although it doesn't seem to hinder her. Dodo ran off after seeing Bronze and Jay, somewhat guiltily. Tiger's Eye wondered why. Fearless pulled Evergreen aside to talk to her. Tiger's Eye and Laika, both suspicious of this, went after them, though keeping their distances. Meanwhile, Arctic was getting chased by Onion and Lichen. They were slower than Onion, so they would need to find a new strategy to get away. Jumping onto a stump, Arctic looked around. The best they could think of was climbing the steep slope up the mountain. Running towards the mountainside, they had no idea they were about to bring together the mountains, forever. Evergreen was taking the clover wrap off her eye, blinking off dried blood. A visible scar still showed, but at least Evergreen wasn't dead. Evergreen: "What do you need, Fearless?" Fearless glared at her. "You killed my father. You tried to kill my mother, while she was expecting. And then you did with that other poison-snouted monst-" Evergreen: "Leave Tiger's Eye out of this. She was doing what she thought was right." Fearless raised their chin. "She's as bad as you." Evergreen didn't respond. "What do you need anyways? You didn't answer my question." Fearless glared at Evergreen with such intensity, it could melt the mountain's snows forever. "I need to you to die."
  13. Hit 10 hours on the Frozen Empire game save! Really surprised by that, normally a file lasts an hour at most before I get bored of it.
  14. I have returned! It was fun away, I stayed in a somewhat creepy old hotel, ate at a new restaurant and found tasty chicken there, and got to go to the zoo and ride a camel. But anyhow, prepare for posts once again.
  15. Sounds like Rōre likes Sēse. And it's good to see Mīwa helping Pipiri become a better leader. Rōre might be planning to take the next fruit for himself.. Pipiri will need to be careful. If he can use the healing plant strategically, he might be able to force Kūta to join him if he does attempt a takeover. Both are relatively strong, and Pipiri can't fight.
  16. Will not be posting for the next 2 days because travel. Have a good weekend!
  17. -1 +3 Arctic watched as everyone began to sleep, Onion wandering a bit away to catch some hares to eat. They had been captured by the Organization- or whatever this group was called- and couldn't exactly escape. But it was now or never. With a burst of speed, they sprinted off into an unknown direction, unsure where they were going but certain they wouldn't be held captive. (lost a screenshot, Arctic is getting chased by Onion and Lichen) Someone called behind them: "After them!" . Eventually, a group of 2 nichelings arrived at the new camp. "Who are you?" Questioned Fox Heart. "We're just travelers." A pomegranate-colored male said with a hint of nervousness. "We need a tribe to join." "From where?" Fire Ruby watched them suspiciously, particularly the female. The female spoke this time. "The jungle. Our tribe was scattered by apes. We came here in hopes of colder weather so we wouldn't be so hot constantly." She laughed a bit in a sad manner. "We got what we wished for, it seems." "What are your names?" Fire Ruby was oddly pushy on the personal questions. "I'm Pomegranate. And this is Dragonfruit, my mate." "We'll ask Onion about this." Something clicked in Dragonfruit's head, and her eyes darkened. "Of course. Is he your leader?" "Yes." Fox Heart was looking at Fire Ruby, who shook herself off and tore her gaze off Dragonfruit. "You can stay here for now." . I foresee this will go disastrously.. It looks like I've let a fox inside a chicken coop.
  18. For the magical death spit to work, it takes one point for energy but they still use that, usually to clear snow or collect nesting material, with some exceptions if they begin to get cold For example: When Evergreen first hit Mud with it, she had one energy point 'used' but cleared the snow around the rock next to her.
  19. Another random screenshot of something unrelated because I can Throne of skulls
  20. First one in over 200 replies :'D
  21. I kinda envisioned this in my head as that way, yea
  22. Alliance from Ashes Firecracker let out a loud roar as Evergreen pulled Tiger's Eye away, both jumping into new hotsprings. Firecracker smashed her claws down here Tiger's Eye was a moment before. Firecracker: "Get back here, I'll kill both of you!" The spiky nicheling charged towards Tiger's Eye, who was trying to reason with her. Firecracker had Tiger's Eye pinned under her claw, before Evergreen shot a lump of venom onto her forehead. Firecracker ran towards the sea, shrieking in pain; but Tiger's Eye grabbed her hindleg, and she fell onto her face, the venom eating up her face in a supposedly gore-y manner hidden from eyeshot. Tiger's Eye stared down at the dissipating nicheling as she heard someone. "Thank you.. sister?" She looked up and saw Evergreen, wrapping clovers in a green-pink bundle around her injured eye. "Its.. it's really nothing." Suddenly, a thundering roar filled the clearing. A balance bear had smelled the decaying bodies, and had come to feast on the rest of the tribe. Everyone scattered; the camp dissolved into chaos. Pomegranate ran up the slope instead of backwards, lost in the fray of shrieks and running. Eventually, a gray nicheling came and sat with him. Terrified for a moment, Pomegranate finally spoke: "Who.. who are you?" "My name is Dragonfruit. I've been wandering this mountain for a while now. I was going to ask to join you all, but, I don't want to be bearfood." "Fair." The two talked, and for a second, all the pressures of the world were lifted. Pomegranate was finally at peace. Good ending pog
