  1. this would be awsome! how much food would the swoopagon drop when killed? would the alpha preadators double their lifespawn? can a swoopagon become alpha? maybe if there was an alpha  bearyena its child could also be apha and when you breed with it it could would have a super rare chance to give an alpha gene that would double the nichelings stats.  that gene would give a reason to venture into the nightmare islands and you would have to wait and fight many alphas before even haveing the chance to get a baby alpha bearyena.

@FinallyFalling, I’m well aware of the issues with achievements, but I don’t know how much should disable them. The easy answer is to always disable them if you make your own starter creatures. The issue I have with this is that you can get lucky with having starting creatures that make the getting the achievement easier. So how close can you get to the achievement without it disabling achievements?

i think those achievements should be disabled all together. while you can get lucky with your starter pair it is all randomness. but with creature creator it wouldn't be random at all. although maybe if you didn't have any of the genes needed for that achievement you could still get it.

  3. this could be very fun. but it would probably be hard to implement. still upvote!

would the dead but not totally dead nichelings have to collect food for themselves and could they get killed?

also i feel like you got inspiration for this from somewhere....

I just looked at all the feature requests that didn't make the cut :( I really hope you'll let us rename our savefiles in the future anyways because it is REALLY annoying when your good savefile is called 'Anchient Tales'. Or when your 'Seekers' tribe didn't become a seeking tribe and just has a cool last-name system. Ech.

yeah i just named a save "new" and then later i realized it wasn't really new but it is still named that..... im still playing it XD.

  5. i think this needs more explaining on how it works. like dose evening come after a certain number of moves on that day? would you then be able to have so many nichelings you couldn't use all the moves before night comes? would each of your nichelings three moves be split up into a morning move an afternoon move and an evening move? how would that work with a young nicheling?

I like to think that it's darting away from the grey-winged orange-eyed one, like they're playing tag or it playfully stole a berry XD

  7. maybe we could also change how each gene will affect the nichelings skills. so if you think a gene is under or over powered you can change it. or if you want to make some really strange game play you can make fur color all that matters and everything else is just cosmetic XD. but of course you couldn't get most of the achievements this way. im no programmer or anything but i don't think it would be hard to implement.

  8. one thing Ive just started doing is splitting my nichelings into two factions. one geared towards as much strength as possible and one towards collecting. i made sure both had the home immunity. and this might help you avoid that situation because if one faction looses the home immunity you've still got the other faction and you can rebuild the faction that lost the home immunity from the other using mutations.

  9. so i thought it would be cool if you had the option to look back not only at your old nichelings but your old islands too. you could have your normal family tree (this suggestion wouldn't work very well if it kept getting rid of nichelings after a awhile as it dose now) and also an island tree(might be a bad name idk). so in it you would see all the island you've inhabited from start to now. you could also see who was born and/or who died on each island as well as how long you were there. it probably would just show a single picture of how the island looked when you left it but with all the animals and bones and nichelings cleared off. this would allow you to be super remittance about how far you've come and how your nichelings adapted to different situations. and if it was only the one screenshot it probably wouldn't take up much room it could also be cut into blacks as has been suggested for the infinite family tree. and this post is sort of a duplicate of the infinite family tree bu i think its different enough to deserve its own post.

I like this idea as well. What about giving you the option to unlock a limited amount of genes in the mutation menu at the start of a sandbox save? Not many, and no prehistoric genes, just as a way to get your tribe adapted to the environment you want them to live in a little faster.

why limit the options just make it more sandboxy and let the player unlock everything if they want.
