  1. Also just sayin', a preview button for posts would REALLY be appreciated.
  2. I mentioned in another thread I'd bought copies of this for a few friends in the Humble sale. One of them started spontaneously describing his experience in our game discussion channel and it was amusing enough that the day after I screenshotted it all. (Took me a few days to get around to sharing due to the need to sit down and mark out a truly impressive number of f-bombs first...) This is just a collection of screenshots of a Discord discussion so I'm not really sure if it goes in this section, I suppose it is a Playthrough in spirit however. At first, there was skepticism. Although this man is a furry with Asperger's, with some other interests which I will not go into here but that leave him no room to talk, still "hey try this cutesy looking animal breeding game that was uh...it's like Spore and Warrior Cats had a baby" was a difficult pitch to make. . As you can see, his resolve soon crumbled. Others I had already infected converted and spectators I was still working on began to take an interest. Indeed it's refreshing to find a game that's so pro- fish people incest, you don't often find such things outside the horror genre! My friends are judgemental meanies and I'm sorry. More to come! I have a dozen screenshots in all, I just don't want to flood the first post.
  3. I thought about getting my niece to play but actually I think this game might actually be devastating for young kids, the way it goes from 'cute, living animal blinking at you' to suddenly skeleton in a heartbeat. e: Renio, and I can't even scroll through a thread lol...are you doing an impression of your sister?
  4. This one is simple. I just want to be able to rotate the camera around like I always do, only without my animals staring directly at me, creepily, at all times. I want to check out new genes and patterns and babies from all angles. I just got a bat with hedgehog spikes, I think, but I can barely see them. The rogues not in my group that I don't even care about meanwhile I can pan the camera completely around and examine closely just fine. This would make for more variety in screenshots too obviously which it seems like others would appreciate given how popular let's plays seem here.
  5. I have now gifted the game to some friends. They resisted at first because of the Warrior Cats association but I left them no choice in the matter. I'm happy to report that at least in the case of one of them (the furry) it's been a smashing success and he has now played more than I have.
  6. I was after Civ VI in the bundle and wound up with this one too. Gave it a look after I saw it mentioned Creatures in the description and it's really cute. I admit I wasn't expecting much from what looked like a kids' game but there's more depth than I expected and I think you guys have the balance between challenge and casual play just right. Glad to see it looks to still be in pretty active development too, I'll be keeping an eye on this one. Thanks and great job. :)
