Yeah, must be that. But then comes the harder part where you change every piece of the line art a different color to show the light on it/ reflect.

Day 4
I got a new drawing tablet so excuse me while I get used to it. (some lines are to wobbly) I kept it simple. Not to much shadows. It might look like I used other colors but I just overlayed some. Red and yellow makes brown, and so forth.
Can't say I like this one very much.

Day 3
I couldn't stand the pose I did last year so I changed it up a bit. Also the position of the sun? Why did I put the sun that close, poor thing must be on fire😆 I think I haven't practice drawing rocks it would seem so I just plopped down some bad moss. Really need to start practicing that again.

As the sun rose over the horizon, mewling could be heard. The new parents welcomed their little girl. Priku seems a little on edge as he looks down at his daughter. "Is their a problem?" Came the hissed words from Anais. Priku seemed startled at her tone. He was used to her soft spoken words and friendly smile.
"Of course not, I'll go gather some berries for you."
So, is the birth of Ashheart.
"It must be your ugly face that brought it here." Misi hissed at Nuduklur as they face off against the bearyena that sneaked up on them. Nuduklur moved back and Misi panicked. "Where are you going?"
"I'm not fighting that thing." Is all he said as he dashed away.
Kupri couldn't let the bearyena run wild among them. Swiftly he lands a few blows on it.

Well here is my DAY 1
I used a weird mix of cross hatching to make the darker shadows with the brown. Not sure how much I improved. I like that the snout isn't crooked this time.

Same as last year!😄 You can do different colors and draw something else this year if you want. Me, on the other hand.

Let's see if I actually did improve some things.
This challenge is to help you learn to use a limited color palette and get better at drawing one thing.
Here are the rules:
1. Use an app; online random color picker or just let someone pick for you so you have 5 different colors for seven days (I used: http://colormind.io/ )
2. Pick what you want to draw for seven days (remember you can only draw that one thing) using these colors, e.g. Niche, animals, fruits, people, backgrounds...
3. Hopefully enjoy it.
Or just see how I struggle because I'll be posting them here AGAIN.😆
I'll be doing Niche art and here are the only colors I'm allowed to use for each day when drawing them. (You can use white and black if you decide you need them)

But when players started posting fanart and pretty much always included the gems and also requested features to change gem colors, we realised that people actually really like them ^^
So now they are usually included! (In the plushies for example and also in the mobile game, even though there is no "UI need" for them).That's kind of interesting to know. At times like these I wish your games had game art books.

Dukro's high pitched scream seems to scare the Bearyena off. He starts of giggling before it falls into hysterical laughter, "I'm the best!" "Did you see that?"
Misi rolls her eyes and decides if she must pick a male from these sad bunch she might as well go for one that can scare off a bearyena. Even if it's in a unconventional way.

Anais goes into labor and Priku gently helps her to the nest they build. "I hope it's a boy." Anais frowns, "Will you have a problem if it's a girl?".
Priku stays silent then smiles, "Of course not.". Unconvinced Anais raise her voice, "I hope it's a girl." Before shoving his paws off her.
~
Meanwhile Nuduklur and Misi ends up next to each other both equally disgusted. "You!" They shout in union. Misi huffed, "I don't want to spend the night next to an ugly thing like you!"

You're not a disappointment! Honesty, you're great a bit willful at times but who isn't. I like you just the way you are. Could you become someone even greater? Sure. But I can say the self for myself too. We all learn at different paces. Take your time. If it means being alone or with friends, you decide. If you need time, take it. Being honest with yourself can be the hardest thing but also helps the most.
