Ariya came back.
"Here's your salad," She said. "And.. Elijah, we don't have any more of the bites.. We have to wait for the ingredients to arrive. Would you like something else?"
"Uhh.. No, thank you." Elijah replied.
"It's a long ways from here. We would have to catch a ride on the Monsters." Shadownight mewed after she bounded down the tree.
'Monsters'?
-
"We can't drive her out.. She's leader and we have no deputy.." The tom mewed.
"But.. We just have to trust in the Moon Spirits to help us." Dovesky mewed.
Elijah looked surprised by the question.
"Yeah.. I'm.." He hesitated. "I'm okay.. Nothing's wrong.."
He seemed like he was trying to convince himself.
"Well, I don't know what that is," Alissa said. "What type of thing are we believing is missing?"
"Just the bites, as usual." Elijah said.
"Still no appetite?" Ariya asked, concern in her tone.
"Not really." Eli replied.
"Alright.. I'll be back with your order.."
Ariya left again.
"Hm.. So.. I have to meet 'Kayla at a café?" Alissa asked.
You couldn't figure out what was missing.
"Andy.." Elijah echoed. "I like it." He decided.
Ariya came back with the waters. "Here you are. Do you need more time or are you ready to order?"
You felt there was something missing, but didn't know what.
"Amy.. When can we come back?" Alissa asked.
"Then when can I know your name?" He said, his eyes playful but voice gental. You could tell he wasn't forcing you.
He was confused by this.
He was also concerned on how Tapi was going to get home.
"Stay here." He told Tapi, going to look for a way he could take them.
