Name: Catwing

Appearence

The catwing may look like a normal cat to the untrained eye, but possesses slits in the fur of behind it's ears, it's back, and it's tail tip. These hide fully retractable wings, tail spines, and horns. The shape and colour of these vary between induviduals and often reflect personality. For example, butterfly-like wings reflect a kind, shy, and sensitive personality.

Habitat

Many catwings live on an island known as the Bedhamas, led by a 12-year-old human child. Her name is unkown, so she is reffered to as 'Big Owner'. Her younger sisters, Medium Owner (age 10) and 'Minature Owner' (age 8 and short) lead their own islands- Cage island, inhabited by Bigbirds, led by Medium Owner, and Couch island, inhabited by Cydogs even though they are not allowed.

Some Catwings live on the mainland, disguised as cats. Who knows, maybe your cat hides a secret.

Abilities

Flight is an obvious ability possessed by Catwings, thanks to their wings. Each catwing also has their own elemental power. These can range from the 4 base elements, like Fire or Earth, to more obscure powers, like glass, metal, plant, and ash. They also often have something to do with personality. Here are some examples of what these can do:

Ash- Blasting a cloud of ash that can blind or slow down targets.

Metal- Causing very heavy lumps to fly at high speeds.

Healing- Healing allies, as well as 'Inverse healing' for enemies.

Plant- Forming walls of thorns

Air- Blasts of wind, even windstorms for powerful catwings.

Shadow- Making it dark in an area. Combined with night vision.

Of course there are many more interesting skills that come with each element.

Culture

Big Owner is simply an idol. The Catwing with power on the Bedhamas is the Mayor, who is elected by the rest of

atwing, Cuddles, dislikes her, as she beat him by a few votes last election. Catwings have proffesions, just like us. They are at an advanced level of technology, not quite as advanced as Cydogs, but advanced nothenless. A water element Catwing named Blue is famous for creating a time machine prototype. She uses her water element to put out fires in her lab.

Names, as you might have noticed, are pretty normal cat names.

History of Catwings

The first Catwing, Amun, was an Egyptian Mau born in 2000BC to an ordinary mother. He had an excellent life, with the ancient egyptians worshipping him, because he was a cat.

The Spirit of Catwings visited him one night. It told him that he was a Catwing, the first Catwing, and along with the second Catwing, named Lapis, he started a lineage of Catwings that exists to this day.

In 25AD, Catwings were in great danger of discovery, as a whole villiage had nearly spotted them. They had recently produced a carving of the new skill they had discovered: multiple Catwings joining together to form a powerful 'mech walker'.

Since the humans were about to find their carving, they transported the stone they had made it on into the deepest cave they knew of and sealed it with traps and puzzles only a large enough group of Catwings could get to. The tactic worked and humans were kept out.

In 1700 AD, the Mayor hierarchy was invented and Catwings moved to the Bedhamas.

In 2016 AD, Big Owner arrived.

When we get to the modern day, history gets messed up. This is thanks to Blue's time machine. Along with Willow, Cuddles, and another random catwing named Nil, they end up travelling through time and messing with history.

The most impactful isntance of history being changed was when the ruler of Cydogs, King Puff, declared a war on Catwings out of his hatred of cats. Determined to stop it, the time gang goes back to when Puff's hatred started. Back then, Puff was a puppy, and he was bullied a lot by groups of kittens.

The gang caught then bullying and reassured him that not all cats are like that. When they go back, they did more than stopped war: Puff had created an allience with them!

Creating your OC

I included all this lore so that your OC can fit in with it. Yes, you can have LGBTQ ocs and such. Have fun making your Catwing OC. Make sure to include stuff like their element.
