Feathers of the Jungle (a birb RP)

BirbMonster

Recommended Posts

Setting: Amazon Rainforest

Naming System: Birds who are part of flocks are named after something to do with nature, like 'Stream' or 'Leaf'. When they learn to fly, they get a two part name based on their original name plus their skills. For example, 'stream' turns out to be a very fast flyer for a chick and is named 'Quickstream'. Non-flock birds are named differently, but if they were cast out from their flock they usually keep their name.

NPCS:

Quickstream - A young red-and-green macaw. Her parents were killed by humans, right after she earned her name. After running away she met Sunset, who adopted her. She also tried to make Sunset's name 'Sungrace'

Sunset - She is a Kakariki, which is supposed to be in New Zealand, not Brazil, but her story goes like this. She used to be a pet in Europe, but managed to escape. She ended up falling asleep on a trading ship to Brazil, and when she awoke she found herself stowing away, with no knowledge of which direction was actually home.

Leaffall - He was named because he's good at diving downwards. He's a Channel-billed Toucan. He's quite old and loves telling stories to chicks. Claims he's been in the Eagle Terriotories.

Twistyvine - He is an Amazonian Motmot who is good at turning. He is in love with Sunset, but is too shy to confess and is nervous about it because they are different species.

Locations:

Great Tree- All species of birds, with the exception of birds of prey all gather here at New Moon, and on other important times too.

The Eagle Terriotories- This is where there are loads of birds of prey, most who come in don't return.

The Cut Clearing - A large clearing of tree stumps, it has been deforested by humans.

Probably will add more soon
