The game centers around playing as a creature and surviving on an island known as Sonaria. You can play as more than 200 different creatures sorted into categories that include their diet (Carnivore, Herbivore, Omnivore), abilities/ (Land Creatures, Aquatic Creatures, Fliers, Toxic, Semi-Aquatics), and playstyles (Tank, Bleeders). The game was released in December 2020 and has since grown in popularity, with almost 400M visits on the Roblox website. There are multiple events in which you can get exclusive event creatures (Valentines, Easter, Summer, Halloween, Winter/Christmas) and you can also buy creatures using Robux, the main currency on Roblox. There is a gacha system in which you can use shooms, the main currency of the game, to spin gachas to get creatures. Gachas are available all year long. You can get shooms by playing the game (you get 5 shooms every minute you play) or trading with other players. Combat is also a main feature of the game, with most creatures having abilities to use in combat such as bleed, toxin, ligament tear, bone break, necro poison, and active abilities such as Area Sleep, Dazzling Flash, Invisibility, etc. Some creatures have elemental breaths to be used in combat, such as fire breath, water breath, toxic breath, ice breath, and more.
