After seeing a post about implementing albino wildlife, I just knew I had to make a post about wildlife with melanism genes. Having creatures other than Nichelings with melanism would be so cool! This would also add a hint of challenge because the black fur would allow the wildlife to not be seen as easily but you could obviously scent them just as easily as a normal creature.This could literally apply to any creature in the game, including Stagmoles, Rabbils, Bearynas, and even possibly creatures in the jungle biomes and the snowy biomes. Similar to the mention in Lilytuft's post, I think that you would also be able to have the ability to earn achievements for killing creatures with melanism because... well... it's not every day you'd see a melanistic Bearyna!
