Have you ever been playing Niche just fine, then hatched ONLY males or ONLY females and totally ruined your run? Well, it happens to me—all the time. I’ve had up to 5 females born in a row without any males! After which, my male critters go extinct, and then my whole pack goes extinct. It’s no fun.

I think a hidden game modifier that balances the number of male and female animals in your pack would solve this. The code would read if you have an overly unequal number of females and males, and correct it by having the next animal born be of the minority gender. Or, a way for the player effect the chances of getting male or female animals would solve this problem, too.

I've been in this situation a few times, managed to come back from it, but I've been in a harem condition at least twice, both female majority thankfully, but it would be nice if there was a way to balance male and female births.
