So thinking of the berhyands not sure if if it's the correct way to spell but anyway you can get the berhyeana genetics by breeding a female nicheling with a friendly berheyna. But since apes don't have babies my first thought was to perhaps suggest adding ape babies. But killing an ape would be incredibly difficult and near impossible. So perhaps you can unlock some new genetics that look very alike to apes, depending on which ape for example big nosed ape could mistake a female nicheling if she has a kind of scent body that smells like an ape. And that way could unlock ape genetics, though to balance this perhaps the chance of getting actual ape genetics is rare. And you may only once breed with the ape. Unlocking the different "Ape" genetics to fool them may be obtained by attacking an ape let's say 30 times. Or simply standing near an ape for a certain amount of days.
