A Hippodile is a creature that appears to be a mixture of Hippopotamus and Crocodile. I believe it lives in the oasis, savannah if there's water, maybe the jungle, and also the swamp.
The Hippodile is an omnivore, but it mostly eats fish. If a fish moves to within one tile of it, it will snap up the fishies and make a splash sound. Sometimes it will walk on shore tiles, but will not walk onto tiles where grass can grow. They cannot survive in cold climates.
The Hippodile might attack water dwelling nichlings if they get to close or try to attack them. As long as a nichling is not bleeding they'll leave it alone. If a nichling attacks them they will become hostile for 3 days. Ergo they will go on the offensive. This will reset each time they are hit.
They have an attack of 6. A defense of 3. A 4 in fishing. A 1 in underwater digging.
