W A N D E R S O N G ! ! !

so basically im rich because my birthday was a while ago

so I bought wandersong in the steam summer sale for £9

and finished it

in 11 hours

without taking a break

and

it was

AMAZING!!!

its soo fun.. its very easy but that just seems to fit for wandersong. basically, you're a singing dude and the theme is about how everyone's special and you dont have to be the ~protagonist~ to make a difference.

the characters are amazing, so is the music, the jokes, the art is alright but I had to play on a really low resolution to get it running smoothly.

~~I ship miriam and the bard so much aaaa.. even though its a stereotypical sidekick-main character pairing...~~

my favourite character is easily the bard because.. act 3 ending.. and act 4.. hes so.. sad.. and.. realistic.. and not just "hAlLo So BaSiCaLlY iM hApPy" and actually.. tries to stand up to audrey (keyword: tries). and the problems didn't just go away, he got even deeper when he says to miriam that he just ignores his problems.. which is sad.. I would say my second favourites are ash and probably captain lucas? oh and the...

I actually hate audrey tho.. I cant see anything thats likeable about her..

the gay monster couple however? I approve,,

and the fact (im pretty sure) that ash is non-binary? also approve,,

i'm also love the wind overseer

and the mermaids

(also I called winstons dog queen. shame on you if you didn't call winstons dog queen.)

want some funny moments? (spoilers ahead!)

my FAVOURITE moments? (WANRING: LOTS OF SPOILERS AHEAD!!! FOR VERY GOOD MOMENTS!!! PLEASE BUY AND PLAY THE GAME FIRST!!)

(this is where he stands up to audrey)

(then he says "why dont you")

(then he runs at her but she stabs him)

(then miriam wakes him up because he still has to do something)

(then he does the thing and this is my second favourite moment because I just love moments where someones in pain or something and it seems hopeless, y'know?

my next favourite moment is the one where he sings to the king and queen of two kingdoms at war with the voice of everyone that lives in the two cities

(I actually dont have screenshots of when he sings but this is just when he's about to and the pulsing white light is like.. the voice of everyone)

and obviously, the moment when it becomes canon the bard would like hollow knight.

(and theres also the ending but)

(actually I dont really like the ending. its what everyone knew was gonna happen but it just doesn't feel like enough? I would atleast like to have seen eya (the goddess. I think that's her name)
