Currently, yes. But we'll maybe also add the option to choose the starting age or (again maybe!) even make the starting creatures customizable :)
The only estimated time frame currently is Q1 2019 for the customizable sandbox update.

That used to seem so far away but not anymore....I'm so hyped!!

  2. I have chickens, so I have some ideas to alter the stats. If we are talking about a bird that's not overly large--

     - Chickens can't swim well, if at all. So 1 or 0 swimming for both.

     - I would give females 0 attack and the males 1 to 2 attack. Hens can peck, but rooster spurs are what cause the most damage.

     - I would give cocks 'crow' which attracts females and also acts as a strong voice stat

     - Cocks (males) won't generally attack unless you come too close to a hen or chick or it is attacked itself

     - Hens can 'shriek' or 'cry' to attract males when they are attacked or if their babies are attacked.

     - I would give them both 1 digging and 1 or 2 collecting

     - I would lower their eyesight, hearing and smelling stats by 1, and make both sexes have the same stats.

     - I would make many of the male and female stats in general more equal.

     - I would say they females drop 10 and males drop 15 food while chicks drop 2

     - Hens sit on nests like dodomingos for 1 turn and chicks hatch

These are just my 2 cents for my ideas :D

    No

3847, would've had much more if half of the time playing them wasn't spent in the snow biomes,, (The most food I've had in any of my tribes [that wasn't from the console] was roughly 7000, on a wolf pack tribe back in the snow update, because I just camped on a grassland island filled with berry bushes)

They also have 1053 nesting material and 24 creatures (Most they've ever had was 44 members, back when I actually let wanderers into the tribe,,)

    How do you keep your tribe size under 50 members ;-;

I have been trying to downsize my birds tribe, mainly by releasing all the useless elders

but they all drown themselves :(162952120_Screenshot(862).thumb.png.259a718ee3a4375a8aa54428fe18c844.png

Come on, Lemoni, you don't have to do this!! 😧

  4. I like the idea, thanks for putting a link to my suggestion :)

The only thing I would change though, I think that no heat resistance and sun sensitivity are not the same thing. A nicheling can still get sun exposure on frost lands for example. What I propose is instead of reminding heat resistance, they get a new stat that makes them more sun sensitive. This means that albinos would have some sort of debuff when it is not raining and they aren’t under shade or in the water. Alternatively, sunny days can vary in amount of sun exposure. This would be harder to implement I imagine because weather with different amounts of clouds would be at play.

  5. Hey again :)

Players sometimes use the console as a way to 'cheat'. You can give yourself more food, change your nichelings' age, gender, or even their genes. I think there are other things you can do too. The problem is, it can be very buggy.

I have only given myself food and changed genes before with the console. The food change was not buggy at all, but my creatures died of old age in just a few days when I changed their genes. Sometimes it isn't like that though.

I think if you press one of the F keys at the top of the keyboard, it will pop up. Then you have to type in specific stuff to 'cheat'.

be sure to back up your save files (make a copy and put them in a safe place) before using the console. Better safe than sorry!

    Cheers!

  6. I can send you some too, later.

    you can pick from:

my Breaking Dawn Tribe (slot 0, grass adventure, around 250 food and 45-50 creatures rip. My first ever tribe. Lots of platypuses)

my Far-sea Feathers Tribe (slot 2, archipelago, around 500 food and 50 nichelings. Everyone has wings!)

my Larkspur Clan Warriors (slot 4, grass adventure, around 80 food and 20 nichelings. They have a bearyena friend. Descendants of avatar)

my "Sirens" Tribe ( Slot 3, grass adventure, right now it's just a bunch of random non-water gened nichelings. I forget how much food there is. Prolly not a lot.)

my sister's abandoned Mineral Tribe (Slot 1, IDK how many nichelings or food. About to travel to a new island, but the island they will travel to is tiny green sooo....)

an abandoned, dying First Snow save (Slot 3 or 4, can't remember, hardly any food + nichelings)

and a bunch of unplayed saves (all Slot 4, made for this thread)

    take your pick! lol

There's the file! And thanks for helping me.

NP! I'm not able to use my computer right now but I'll be sure to play it a bit later!

I'll also send you some of my saves if you want!

I have an archipelago birbs save, and some other grass adventure saves, including one with the descendants of my avatar, Feldspar. None have a ton of food, all have way too many creatures, but they are not starving to death either. When I get back home I can send you some if you want.
