  1. This playthrough doesn't really have any rules besides that children are only born during the rain. The playthrough is focused on the immortal nicheling Minerva. She is a goddess and therefor unable to die, with perfect and beautiful genetics. (created with console commands of course) All other nichelings will be mortal, and she will travel the world alone until she finds other wanderers. Time takes place in the form of "moons" since days pass so quick but a year would be too long, a moon will be considered a week, but not an in game week of seven days, more a feeling of a week passing for the creatures. But when the counter hits 1000 days, that will count as Minerva's 1000 moons. Her story begins in the heavens. She is Minerva, Daughter of Metis. Metis is the goddess of wisdom and expects her daughter to reflect her traits. When Minerva grows up to become selfish and greedy. As she leans more to becoming a Goddess of warfare instead of a Goddess of wisdom and medicine. Minerva believes only in power and overthrowing the heavens. Her mother refuses to stand for such a thing and casts her to earth for the next thousand moons. Minerva wakes in the morning on solid ground for the first time in her life, though she is not scared. She begins to wander, and for the first thirty days, she is alone. Though she does not age, she is now susceptible to the dangers of earth. She must gather food to survive on, seek shelter where she can, avoid predators that may injure her beyond repair. After thirty days she begins to break down, never has she been alone for so long, how can she possibly survive like this? As if in answer to her woes, in the pouring rain the brush begins to shake, a creature emerges from the grasses. He introduces himself to her, his name is Tanu. He tells her that he felt like the pull of the rain was drawing him to her. Obviously having never seen a goddess before, he was bewitched by her appearance. The two fall in love and by the next rain she gives birth to a child. They name him Fleck. Minerva looks over her tiny child and for the first time since she has been cast to this island she is afraid. No half blood child can hold the powers of immortality. She realizes not only will she outlive her first child, she will outlive every child she births, and every creature she comes across on this earth. Time passes and Minerva teaches Tanu and Fleck about the lives of the Gods, and the rules that are rewarded by the Heavens. Her father is Jupiter, God of Storms, who rewards those who have children in the rain with good fortune and healthy kits. "He is what led you here, that day in the rain" She tells Tanu. "I thought I may never find anyone, that my punishment would be lived miserable and alone. But he answered my cries, and he answered them with you." The next rain comes soon after, and Minerva has another child. A daughter, Chia. With the pelt of her father and the spots of her mother, Chia is noticed by the gods as a true symbol of Minerva's growth, and the rain continues for another day, blessing them with extra food. As the children grow up, each creature falls into a set pattern through the day. Minerva is the hunter, due to her stunning speed, sharp horns, and poisonous fangs she can quickly take down any rabbit or mole. Chia follows behind her and gathers the meat to bring back to Tanu and Fleck, who gather berries and crack open nuts below the Great Oak Tree. Minerva is truly beginning to understand what home is, and her urge to provide food for her family is teaching her the value of life. Time passes and Tanu begins to grow older and weaker. He can barely manage to crack open a nut, simply collecting them and handing them to Fleck to open. Minerva doesn't know how to handle such a thing, no one in the Heavens gets weaker unless they are poisoned. No one in the Heavens ages. and no one, no. one. Dies of old age. Minerva can't handle seeing this mortal creature she has grown to love pass away. She takes off to the far ends of the territory. Killing mole after mole, giving the meat to Chia to take home. "Father passed this morning." Chia says to her, looking her right in the eyes. "He asked for you every day and yet you never came. Fleck grows older now, will you abandon him as well?" Minerva can hardly face her daughter. "I have not lived as long as many of the Gods, and I have never seen death. How am I supposed to learn to face it now, when it is someone I love? The Heavens of the Gods are different than the ones of the Souls, but I know he is there now, healthy and young again. In a thousand moons I will see him again, just as he was. Is that so wrong?" Chia tilts her head to her mother, in a soft voice retorts "you are a coward." and walks away. Within the next few moons, Fleck grows older, his mother never coming back from the far ends of the territory. Chia has been gone for days now, refusing to leave her brothers side. Minerva becomes racked with guilt and builds up the courage to see her son. When she returns, she finds she is too late. Chia greets her with nothing but sad eyes. Minerva sees the gray starting to spread across her daughters muzzle, and the fog starting to grow in her eyes. "I will not leave you" She whispers. With another moon come and gone, Chia reaches her final night. She lays next to her mother, Minerva's Peacock tail covering her from the rain. "Mother" Chia whispers "Promise me you will move on from here, find a new family, build a new life. Do it better. Don't abandon them." A tear falls from Minerva's violet eyes. "My child, I promise you I will never leave one of my own behind again. Those who die will die right by my side. I will comfort them on their walk to the Heavens." Chia sighs in content, letting go of her final breath in peace. Minerva mourns for three full moons beneath the Oak Tree. A rain storm comes and she feels the push from her father, Jupiter, to move on. She listens, traveling though unexplored grasses for many days. One day she stumbles upon a creature in the brush. She first notices the yellow coat, and then the big fluffy fur. Instantly she is reminded of Tanu. The nicheling lifts its head as she approaches. With a snout very different than that of Tanu, and eyes black and night, Minerva finds herself back in reality, realizing this obviously is not her former mate. He excitedly greets her, introducing himself as Wasp, she greets him back. "My, you sure have a unique look going for you there" Minerva lifts her head in shock, never before has she been teased in such a way "I am a Goddess. My pelt is speckled with the stars. My eyes are filled with the universe. Who are you to poke fun, you are named after an insect." He laughs, his eyes bright. "You must either be the most narcissistic creature I've ever met, or absolutely insane." A moon passes and the two fall in love. A different love than the one she experienced with Tanu. Tanu treated her like royalty. He knew she was a Goddess and he treated her as such. With Wasp, things are calmer, mostly due to the fact that he has not for a single second believed she is truly a Goddess. He is playful and kind, and when he tells her he wishes to have children she tells him they can't until it rains. "What? Why would you wait for rain?? Food is plentiful now, the soil is dry and so is the material to make a nest. Rain would soak the ground, wet the leaves and the branches. That's no weather to bring a kit into" Minerva shakes her head. "My father is the God of Storms. Any child born under the rains is guaranteed health and safety. I refuse to have a kit otherwise." Though Wasp thinks these a the ramblings of a crazy nicheling, they do wait until the rain, and with it comes their first child, Honey. "See? A picture of perfect health. Within the next few days the berries will be plentiful, the rabbits will come out to eat, the moles will search for worms, and we shall never go a hungry day." Wasp looks over is mate, who has not aged a day since they first met, and gently whispers "I suppose". They spend the next few days cleaning away the grass and brush. Minerva tries to teach Honey to hunt, but with each bunny he pounces on he simply lets go. Wasp suggests he instead learn to carefully gather the berries off the bushes, which he is able to do at ease. As the land begins to dry Minerva can sense the oncoming rain, she falls pregnant and begins to prepare the nest. On the day of the rain Minerva gives birth to twin girls. Poka and Dotte. They are the first creatures besides her mother that she has ever seen with the poison fangs. Poka's fur is a sleek brown, while Dotte's is similar to her mothers as she is coated in many spots. "They are absolutely beautiful" Wasp mutters in absolute awe of the children. "Yes" Minerva whispers back. "They are the children of the stars." The kits grow enough to go on their first hunt. Minerva believes they have the mark of the Hunters with their ram horns and poison fangs. Once they learn how to become stealthy, no creature will be able to sneak past them. After watching their mother pounce an unsuspecting mole, the two gather around the burrow. "When will it come out again?" Dotte whispers to her sister. "Hush! It'll never come out if you keep talking!" Poka hisses back. Minerva walks up behind the two, purring lightly. "It will never come out if you continue to sit directly in front of it's burrow." The two pull back, anxiously awaiting the next mole in the colony to pop up. The children catch a mole together the next day, and continue to catch more and more until eventually they grow large enough to catch one without each other's help. The territory continues to expand. Honey sits between two berry bushes, watching as they become ripe enough to pick. Poka and Dotte travel along the border, picking off rabbits and moles that catch their eyes. Wasp begins to grow older. On his final day he sits surrounded by his mate and his children. "You really meant what you said to me that day, that you are a Goddess." Minerva nods to him. "I never even thought to believe you until the day the twins were born. I had begun to grow gray in the muzzle and weak in the bones but you looked exactly the same. With each day I allowed myself to believe it more, and now that I lay here on my final night, I know it is true. Please, tell me about the Heavens. Tell me about why you are here." Her children stare at her in utter disbelief, but trusting both their parents, they listen to Minerva eagerly as she tells them her tale. "I was a very different creature then, so very many moons ago. I was one of the youngest Goddesses, but the child of two of the most powerful. I thought I could rule, that power was to be taken not earned. I believed that no mortal lives mattered and I prepared to rain Hell on the Earth to claim it as my own. So my mother, The Goddess of Wisdom, banished me from the Heavens for one thousand moons, of which I have only completed a small percentage of. When I arrived I was cold and bitter. Unwilling to accept it was I who had to change. I spent many days alone, I grew so lonely that I thought I may just lay down and let myself pass to the Heaven of Souls. But that night my father, Jupiter, brought me rain. And with it he brought me a family. I had two other children. I learned the importance of mortal life. I learned the importance of moral death. My first daughter, she made me promise I would move on, I would make a new family and not make the same mistakes as before. I am going to keep that promise. I swear that to you. And I swear once my thousand moons have passed, I will return to visit my family in the Heaven of Souls." They all looked at her in awe. that night Wasp passed, and the children with newfound knowledge were able to grieve but understand that they would be reunited someday. They all continued to hunt and collect. Making the best of their home. One day two Nichelings wander from the brush. The four look at them in absolute shock as the larger one has a large wing protruding from one side of his body. They introduce themselves as Kite and Claw, two friends who have been wandering this island together since they were kits. This is the first time Minerva has met a group of wanderers. She is unsure if they should join them. Before she can turn them away Dotte and Poka yell out at the same time "welcome!" Minerva looks at her children's bright faces and decides that though they are not her family, they can stay. A moon passes and the rain comes again. Dotte has fallen for Claw and Poka has fallen for Kite, and both have fallen pregnant. The day of the rain two kits are born. First comes Dotte's kit, who Minerva sees and instantly begins to weep. Her daughters try to comfort her, confused as to what has upset their mother so. "She looks so much like my first child, Like Chia." Dotte looks at her child and then back to her mother. "Then we will call her CeeCee, in memory of Chia." Within the next few hours Poka's kit is born. All look to him and gasp in amazement. His fur is feathered and white as snow. A beautiful white crown of horns sits atop his head. Two large wings stick out from both sides of his body. Kite whispers, almost to himself, "How...how can he have two wings?" Minerva looks to him. "He is a gift. Jupiter, the God of Storms and the Sky, has gifted the child with the ability to fly like a bird." To be continued (very soon)
  2. my suggestion is to not rush through, really build up a l a r g e food source before progressing to hard islands. once you do, keep your amount of nichelings small. once you have a pair that can breed, stop breeding your current pair. Get through all the hard islands as quickly as possible, go directly to the ports.
  3. The final chapter. The Clan wakes in the morning to see a tiny kit tucked below BananaPelt. She lifts her tail to reveal.... A female kit. The clan takes off into the woods in desperate search of a male. The days pass and they all grow older, and older. They pass one by one until there is only the young kit, BerryPaws, remainging, though she is now an adult. Without a wanderer or even a rogue male in sight, she is the final creature in the clan to pass below a Great Oak Tree.
  4. And so it continues. The creature reveals herself as HeatWave. She explains to the clan that long ago there was a kit brought to this very tree. She was the first creature on this island to have the sickness. She was punishment for her parents disrespect for the code. Her parents caught the illness and with their deaths it spread to the tree. All wanderers who have rested below it have become sick, cutting their lifespan in half, and infecting all those who come too close to them. That night LionStar has a dream. He is greeted by SnowClaw, the founder of the can, who tells him the only way for them to end the sickness is to have a generation of creatures with the same blood as the first sick kit, who believed in the tellings of the StarClan die below the tree. LionStar, NightSpikes, and GreyStorm, now on their final day, gather next to each other under the tree, say goodbye to their pregnant mates and children, and pass to StarClan through the night, eradicating the sickness forever. The remainder of the clan adjusts to the new territory and loss of the three. DaySky is pronounced the new leader, being blessed with the name DayStar. The clan spends most of their time exploring the grasses, setting boarders, and hunting moles. One day while BananaPelt sniffs her way through the forest, she comes across a wanderer. Since the death of NightSpikes, she has been the only one in her clan with a spitsnout, so when she finds TinyDog, they fall for each other the second their eyes meet. The next rain comes and with it is MoonShine, SunBeam, and BananaPelts kits. SunBeam is shocked to discover her kit has the fin of a fish. She names the child SharkFin for obvious reasons. MoonShine has named her kit WhipTail, for she has an abnormally long fishing tail, that wraps twice around her tiny kit body. BananaPelts kit holds much resemblance to herself, but with a small nubbed paw similar to her mates. For this, she names her LittleFoot. DayStar has a surprise in store for herself on this day as well. Her whole life she has waited for the day in which she would have kits of her own, but with no males in the Clan besides BananaPelts mate TinyDog, things seemed hopeless. As she wandered through the grasses in the rain, she heard a tiny mew from up ahead. Through the clearing she found a tiny newborn kit. With no mother in sight and the kit shivering in the cold, she carried the small thing back to camp, and vowed to raise her as her own. She named her RustSpots. The kits grow to their young teens, while SunBeam and MoonShine reach their final days. The two curl up underneath the Oak Tree, each with an acorn at their feet. And in the night they spirits travel up to StarClan, to join their mates and watch over their children from the skies. One day while wandering the shores for shells to crack open, BananaPelt sees movement in the muddy walls of the land. A set of eyes pop open, revealing a kit camouflaged into the mud. BananaPelt quickly figures out this kit must have been abandoned for her spitsnout, and carries her back to the safety of camp. She names her TreeSpots, for her fur is the color of the bark of the Oak Tree. Time passes and with all but TreeSpots reaching adulthood, the clan is becoming worried with the lack of males. SharkFin, WhipTail, LittleFoot, and RustSpots all gather to discuss the problem. Agreeing that if it comes down to it, they will all share one mate in order to keep the clan alive. All hope falls onto BananaPelts final pregnancy, or a male wanderer joining the clan. The next rain comes, and BananaPelt sits in her nest by the tree. All sit around her and pray to the SkyClan for a male. Darkness comes and all fall asleep. If she does not birth a male, the clan will have to take drastic measures to ensure their survival. Will this be the end of the clan? To be continued
  5. And it continues. The trio grow up together and develop a very close bond. SunFire returns from the far edges of camp as he grows older, and can't help but to feel like a father to the children. CoyoteStar and PythonPelt become pregnant again, but their mates pass under the Oak tree before the next rain comes. SunFire trains the children on clan life while their parents hunt and defend the territory. Within the next few days, He passes below the Oak Tree as well, the three nichelings all sit around him. He apologizes, telling them he chose to never have kits to spare them from the pain of losing the one who raised them, the children tell him that he has brought them so much joy and knowledge, he will always be remembered. For a moment he regrets not having children of his own, but then realizes the trio are basically his own. Time passes and the three reach adulthood. Rain comes again and with it so does CoyoteStar and PythonPelt's new children. MoonShine and SunBeam. Both parents leave the nest to continue protecting the territory, NightSpikes watches over the two kits. For the first time in clan history, a Bearyena attacks the camp. PythonPelt, CoyoteStar, and GreyStorm attack. Together they manage to take down the creature without getting harmed themselves. With CoyoteStar getting older, the trio gather to wonder who will end up being leader. GreyStorm believes it will be him, for he carries the horns of great leaders. NightSpikes retorts that a leader hasn't been chosen because of their horns for generations, clearly it will be him because he showed skills in caring for the kits. LionEyes tells him that would make him a better medicine cat than leader. The three all walk off more unsure than before. CoyoteStar reaches her final day, all sit with her under the Oak Tree. She crowns LionEyes as the next leader, giving him the name LionStar with her dying breath. The clan gathers around him in celebration. By the next rain all kits have grown into adulthood. MoonShine and LionStar have become mates, as have NightSpikes and SunBeam. MoonShine gives birth to twin daughters, DaySky and NightSky, and SunBeam has a daughter named BananaPelt. LionStar decides it is time for the Clan to move territories and start somewhere new. Once the children are old enough to travel they head north. The clan stops when they reach an area where all the grass is cleared. Someone has lived here before, a long time ago. The clan doesn't know that this spot is where MaskSkull and MousePelt lived when they ran away. the clan travels on. NightSky and DaySky explore together. The Clan comes to an Oak Tree and prepares to set up their new camp. A creature emerges from the darkness, she looks sickly and weak. "Don't stay here, please, the illness still spreads." They all look to her in confusion, what sickness? To be continued, again.
  6. Go ahead!! I'm having so much fun with it, I hope you do too
  7. Update time: MerigoldEyes continued to wander the forest alone, before her sickness caused her to be too weak. A gentle voice guided her to a tree, where she lay and rest and passed in the night. Back at camp SpikeTail and HobbleFoot fall in love. SandStar reaches old age and passes on the role of leadership to CrownedStar, allowing him to give meaning to his second name. On the first rain, Spiketail has her first child, TroutPaw. Within the next few days it rains again, resulting in the birth of BearClaws. All is calm in the clan over the next few days, it rains again and SunFire is born. The clan has extended their territory in a way that allows plenty of food to be gathered and caught. InfernoSpirit hunts moles, StarSeer gathers berries, WarriorMask and CrownedStar work together to hunt moles. BearClaws tears down bushes and hunts for moles. TroutPaw is the new medicine 'cat'. HobbleFoot and SpikeTail grow old, and on their final night they sit under the tree, tails intertwined, and fall asleep to join the stars. Their three children gather around the tree and say their goodbyes. SunFire, still just a child, is heartbroken. He vows to never have a child, so they never have to suffer the pain of losing their parents. BearClaws and WarriorMask become mates, and with the next rain have a daughter, CoyoteHeart. CoyoteHeart grows and leaves the nest. CrownedStar sees intense potential in her, and though it is his last day of life, he pronounces her the next leader. He passes beneath the Oak tree, under the watch and comfort of TroutPaw and his sister, WarriorMask. CoyoteHeart begins to wander the territory, helping out where she can. Tearing down unused bushes and catching thieving rabbils. the next rain comes and her sister, PythonPelt, Is born. (forgot to take a picture of her as a child) On the same day, CoyoteHeart finds a nicheling wandering the territory, His name is FishTail. Though he is a young loner, he sees greatness in the clan, and decides to join them. Within the next few days, InfernoSpirit and WarriorMask pass below the tree. BearClaws, So much younger than WarriorMask, is devastated. He sticks by PythonPelt, teaching her all the ways of the clan. It rains, but there are no mate pairs, and hence no children. Instead, StarClan gifts the pack by leading a wanderer their way. A young nicheling named FrogFoot is discovered by StarSeer, and welcomed into the Clan. CoyoteHeart and PythonPelt reach adulthood. CoyoteHeart is now named CoyoteStar, and she falls for Fishtail. PythonPelt and FrogFoot become mates as well, excited for the next rain to allow them all to bear kits. Another surprise enters the camp, as a beautiful wanderer named SnakeSpikes sneaks through to try to steal a few berries, BearClaws finds her, and it is love at first sight. Over the next few days, TroutPaw and StarSeer pass below the tree. The next rain comes, and all mates gather below the tree to prepare the nests. The females fall asleep while their mates watch over them, ready for the three new additions to come to the clan through the night. And at dawn they come. From left to right is NightSpikes, GreyStorm, and LionEyes. The clan watches them lovingly, this is the new beginning. To be continued.
  8. @Goggles-kun He's really let himself go. Also I decided to make this after already playing up to the point where I left off, so that's why all the screenshots are of the family tree as adults, since I was saving them to my own family tree (familyecho.com, really nice website, free and allows you to post pictures of the creatures. Love to use it since once a creature dies in game it'll eventually be removed from the tree) but for the next update I'll take pictures of creatures as babies and images of the island.
  9. I've loved the playthroughs people have been doing and wanted to do one of my own. My clan has to follow these rules in order to live peacefully: Always nest by trees, not directly under them To enter the afterlife they must die directly under a tree All wanderers are accepted into the clan Creatures can only breed when it rains, and can only move islands when it rains. The Clan begins with two mates from a former clan, RamHeart and SnowClaw, who have decided its time to start fresh on a new island. On the first rain RamHeart has StoneEyes, With this birth the two mates decide to keep the same second name through all their children. As the rains come and go frequently on this small island they have VervainEyes, Followed by OceanEyes.(who once grown becomes the first leader of the clan, taking on the Second name of Star.) One night a young nicheling wandered by the territory and was accepted in, Her name was CleftPaw, due to having one paw of much greater size than the other. She and VervainEyes become mates, and on the next rainstorm give birth to GoldenSun, while SnowClaw and RamHeart have SoulEyes, and decide that he is their final child, and by the next rainfall they will be too old to produce another. A few days later, siblings SpecklePelt and Bearpelt come to the clan looking for a home The island is showered with rain again, allowing for Cleftpaw and VervainEyes to birth their second child, DarkSun. Several days pass and all children grow of adult age. RamHeart and SnowClaw have passed under the Great Oak in the territory, their spirits joining the stars. Rain comes the day after their passing, considered a blessing from the ones who started the Clan. Specklepelt has fallen in love with GoldenSun, and SoulEyes with Darksun. Two Children are born. Mudpaw, from Specklepelt and GoldenSun, and DarkSoul, (Someday to be DarkStar due to him carrying horns the color of snow, reminding OceanStar of her father) by SoulEyes and DarkSun. A new face enters the territory, He goes by FireHeart, and quickly falls in love with OceanStar. Though it takes a while to win her over, by the next rain they are mates. OceanStar gives birth to SandStorm. DarkSun and SoulEyes have their second child, LightSoul, and SpecklePelt decides she no longer wishes to have children. Mudpaw has grown to take on the role of a medicine cat and never take on a mate. Instead he gathers the acorns from under the tree and sits with those who pass on their final nights. Though StoneEyes truly wanted Kits, She never met anyone who she fell in love with. MudPaw sits with her under the tree as she passes in the rain. VervainEyes Dies soon after alongside his mate CleftPaw and BearPelt. With her final days approaching, OceanStar decides it is time for the clan to move on, and passes on the role of leader to DarkSoul, making him DarkStar. She tells him to lead the clan to a larger island and to cross the stones on the next day of rain. She, SpecklePelt MudPaw and FireHeart all stay behind to pass underneath the tree. With the final rain, the remaining clan crosses the stones to a much larger island. Upon the first rain on the new island SandStorm and DarkStar fall for each other, and BerryClaw is born. A few days pass and DarkSun and SoulEyes pass under the newly founded oak tree, just a few days apart. After DarkSun's death comes rain, and with it the birth of BeachClaw. There is no rain for days, Sandstorm and DarkStar become worried. They are growing older and older and no wanderers have come through the territory so LightSoul, BearClaw, and BeachClaw have no options for mates. DarkStar has now grown too old to mate, he and SandStorm pass, and shortly after so does LightSoul. The rain comes but there is no one to mate with. With BerryClaw now named leader, becoming BerryStar, the fear that the clan will die with him and his brother is coming closer to a reality. BeachClaw takes off into uncharted lands in hope of finding a mate. After days and days of wandering he comes across SunSet, the two race back to the territory before it rains to return and discover that BerryStar has met a mate of his own, ShadowPelt. He names her as the next leader due to his old age. ShadowPelt becomes pregnant but BerryStar passes under the oak tree before the child is born. Rain finally comes. ShadowStar has a son, MousePelt. and SunSet gives birth to twins, a true sign of hope from the stars. They are named SandSnow and SnowSand. SandSnow is decided to become the next leader of the clan once ShadowStar passes. After ShadowStar's passing rain comes again, Sunset has a daughter. MaskSkull. The clan is adjusting to from food sources being meat to having to switch to berries from their lack of strength. SunSet and BeachClaw pass, All the children have reached adulthood. MaskSkull and MousePelt have grown sick of the code, they do not believe in the nichelings in the stars and run off to have their own pack. They have children in a far section of the forest, one after the other, not waiting for rain and not under an oak tree. They Have CrownedStar, given the name of Star at birth to mock the StarClan. Followed by InfernoSpirit, StarSeer, and WarriorMask. Meanwhile at camp SandStar meets a lone creature in the night. Her name is LavaFin. The two have a child during the first rain named HobbleFoot. The same day SnowSand discovers a kit lost in the forest, and brings her to the camp. Due to her odd appearance he gives her the name SpikeTail, He raises her. Back with MaskSkull and MousePelt, they receive punishment from the StarClan for their rebellious deeds. Their Fifth child, MerigoldEyes, is born intensely sick, and it's contagious. By this point CrownedStar has reached adulthood. In the night he takes his other three siblings and runs off into the night. Leaving his parents behind with MerigoldEyes. They run for a few days before stumbling upon the camp. SandStar realizes these are the children of his sister and welcomes them to his camp, that night they catch a dodomingo and leave 3 of its feather under the oak tree, in hopes that the nichelings in the stars will find forgiveness for them. MerigoldEyes sickness and the loss of their other children brings a sudden faith to MaskSkull and MousePelt, they rush to bring MerigoldEyes to an oak tree. They find one and sleep beneath it, catching her illness they pass within the next few nights, Leaving MerigoldEyes to wander the forest alone. To be Continued
